The ultimate match between two newcoming smart contract coins. We will hear more about these two from now on.

Which one is better and has a long term promise do you think?

I have been arguing this in my head all morning. I think NEO but hope WAVES -- as I have more WAVES than NEO

I didn't know about NEO only creating dividents for a few years. This makes it less profittable for sure. Do the dividents disspear completely after a few years or do they stay at a minimu?

Neo is the rebranding of Antshares(ANS) that you've surely even heard of Wink
It is sometimes called as "China's Ethereum": https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/antshares-rebrands-introduces-neo-and-new-smart-economy1/
If it is the case, it should have great success for sure.
Personally I own both of these coins as I believe in both.

I own both these in a ratio of about 5/1 currently in waves favour.

Mainly as its cheaper so easier to stock, increased another 300/60 last week so im happy with the current returns.

Want to get to around 1500 waves 300 Neo over the next few months.

Both are booming. I'm guessing neo will boom more but waves is cheaper so you can get more benefit from it. 2 great tokens, both good investments

Rebranding a product shows that you are serious about your business just like what NEO did coming out from Antshares that sounded like a shitcoin with a logo of an ant that looks like its jumped out from one of those animated movies of Walt Disney. Prior to segwit and its still knows as Antshares it was priced at $8 but after segwit it soared to $10 and after rebranding went up to $15-$17. Between waves and NEO I'll go for NEO but I have a few Waves in my portfolio.

I think WAVES will win the compare, shouldn't you search news and found WAVES' news is obviously more than NEO's?

3. waves has a lot of project on top of it.
4. many ico use waves to invest to them

I just heared NEO recently, but I'll go for waves due to I invested some waves. Since waves price is affordable it is good to invest for now. I dont know whats the future ahead of NEO, but on waves Im sure it has a good future and I know I can earn profit.

If in doubt between two coins, always go for cheaper coin if they have same (or almost same) total supply. That will bring most ROI. Waves wins hands down, and have more room to grow. Also both have same total supply of 100 million, but NEO has circulating supply of only 50 million, so in case of more coins released in market, price will go down.

I think that waves would be far superior. Because I see waves are more popular in neo appeals. Although I have never used the two coins. However I am more interested in waves. Because according to one user waves that can be in trust. That to transact waves coins more quickly confirmed

I hold both, but I think NEO is the better choice of the two. Maybe not at current prices though; I'd wait for NEO to drop a bit before buying more.
Capabilities of each coin aside, I think Russia vs China is a legitimate consideration. China is very good at promoting Chinese companies, and obviously has a huge internal market. Look at Alibaba and WeChat for example, and then think about what happens if NEO becomes the de facto national crypto of China.
