I recommend SIA coin and Stellar. Siacoin is very cheap now and the development team has been active.
As for Stellar, a project is starting its ICO based on the Stellar platform and hopefully many will come.

Ethereum was the best of all, but if you already have it, then I suggest you to buy it again. But in case you absolutely want to buy a new one, I recommend you ZCash. Its partnership with Ethereum will make it something big.

It is crazy to pick expensive coins when you can get much more cheaper one like Cloak, ZenCash, Crave, which have good chance to grow few times so they are super opportunities. Zcash can only recover previous price and this is it. Do not expect more miracles. Thinks like whales thinks, do not fall on PR. |

The links you mentioned are really going to help him out in selecting the best coin for investment. But as per my knowledge and experience, I will suggest him going for neo and waves. This both altcoins are doing great currently and are supposed to have a great future. It is good if he do some research on his own. |

Got lucky today I most say, sent 0.5BTC and get 75000 RPX from red pulse after their 24hrs presales. As i wrote in another thread i would strongly recommend:
-0X strong team, beautiful project, perfect ico with a proportional token distribution, it could reach at least 10x
-BYTOM stong chinese investor base, intresting project, it could reach at least 10x
-WAGER intresting project, stable price, near to some release, it will be huge
-SHIFT good purpose, good team, costant development, lack of marketing, it could reach 100x
-QRL wonderful project and purpose, strong team, costant development, lack of marketing, on september Genesis block, it could reach 10x
-SONM under ico price, constant development, in accumulation phase, it could reach 50x
These are all the coins I'm currently investing in and i'm heavily convinced that all will be huge. Some are big enought some small with a big room of growth.

Please recommend me your 1 best altcoin to buy. I have been researching so much for the next coin to buy but i am overwhelmed by all the choices. Dont recommend Eth, Ltc, Waves and Neo please. I own them already.
If you want to hold long term try holding some XEM. lots of development on this coin as their developer was so active. you can purchase XEM on bittrex and poloniex . |

I recommend Lykke for the long term - they have published their 2016 Business Report if you want to read more about the project. Recent integration with Ethereum in June. Very promising in my opinion.
A lot has been said about XRP but I still believe this coin has much potential on the long term.
