Being a millionaire is the dream of everyone including me.
To become a millionaire i only need 5 btc.
It took a very long time to get 5btc, in my country 1btc has reached 45jt figure. Fantastic.
Of course i want to achieve that dream, i have started the journey to achieve the target by investing in farms and trade.
The spirit to target 5btc.

To become a millionaire is everyone wishing for to live a enjoyable life. But for me 20btc would be enough to start a new life. In case I have this on hand I would startup a business that I could managed on my own. Even having 20btc here in my country could help me a lot to sustain my needs and family.

If you look at bitcoin prices at the moment. You do not need a lot of bitcoin to get rich. It takes just a few to become a millionaire. Bitcoin is now very expensive. And for those who have bitcoin will become a millionaire. Without working if you save bitcoin you get a lot of money. Just by bitcoin only.

Having big amount of money or BTC is already enough for you to settle for your own good or settle for some retirement. 100BTC will be enough already, just learn how to save it and manage your own money, make some investments and do some business so your money is always recycling even if you spend it all the way. Just don't spend it to some nonsense things that are not useful for you.

Bitcoin now is over 3000 usd. How much bitcoin would you say you need now to be a millionaire in the future? I heard there is an expert that said bitcoin will hit 100k but this would take a very long time. This is the guy that predicted bitcoin would hit 2k etc when very few ppl thought about this.
If bitcoin hits 100k a coin, you would need 10 bitcoin. And of course, most people do not have 10 bitcoin or anywhere close to that amount unless they got bitcoin when it was very cheap... or of course they have a lot of money to invest.
To those of you with say 5 bitcoin, do you think its possible? What about those with say 10 bitcoin? I assume those people who got bitcoin earlier and got like 100 bitcoin probably feel very good about being a millionaire? I don't think it would be possible to be a millionaire now with bitcoin if you are buying bitcoin now unless you have alot of money.
for us in our country, 6BTC bitcoin will make us millionaire here, I am one of the unlucky ones who just know what bitcoin is, if I know in my previously years about bitcoin I will surely invest good amount on it, but for now I will just keep dreaming on that price of bitcoin will go up high  |

I think it still has that opportunity, because bitcoin prices still have the potential to continue to increase.

Maybe 100btc is enough to live a happy life here in my country,with that amount of money i can go whatever i want,eat whatever i like buy everything that will make my family cause they are the reason why im doing it. I dont have any plan for myself its them why im working so very hard.
I do not think 100 btc in my country, you will become millionaire. That money is enough for you to buy a big house or a few cars. I think becoming a millionaire needs more btc than 100. Possibly owning that much btc then you will be rich but not suitable to call millionaire Where do you live? Switzerland?? 100 BTC is already $340,900, who the hell owns that in BTC? A extreme minority. If 10 BTC is rare, 100 BTC is ultra rare. With 100 BTC you'll be a millionaire within 10 years for sure. We'll hit $10,000 once lightning network is deployed and sidechains start appearing, the growth in price will be exponential, so $10,000, then $100,000 faster than we can imagine. |

A unique question, you could be a millionaire if you have a Gold Mining Company like freeport. But now everyone is mining Bitcoin in every house, it seems strange. I'm not sure everyone likes this job, and they are looking for another, more challenging job to become a millionaire.

In my own currency at the current rate, you'll gonna need about 7 bitcoin to earn your first million and call yourself a millionaire. About being millionaire, I dont agree with you. There are many ways to earn bitcoin nowadays, all you have to do is to be patient and be resourceful, eventually you can earn million bit by bit |

I do not know how much Bitcoin I need to become a millionaire. Currently, with the bitcoin I have, I do not need to worry about my future anymore. I think that is enough. |

Considering for me Bitcoin price will be 50 000 dollar by 2022. So 1 000 000 / 50 000 = 20. By 2022, according to me, you will need 20 bitcoins.

If Bitcoin can survive its governance problems, forkmania, get some decent exchanges and something ETF esque I think $20,000 is achievable by the early 2020s. So 50 gets my vote. That's not remotely achievable for most here now.
Of course if you and Bitcoin stick around long enough you'll end up being a millionaire simply thanks to inflation with one or less.
My big hope for next year is the inclusion of lightning network, and probably 2019 will be the sidechain's year. Im really hoping that we can have functional, fast fully decentralized exchanges backed by lightning network tech. So far I have seen certain solutions to decentralize trades but they are really slow, they aren't proper exchanges with their own broker, fast order book and a graph, they are more like marketplaces, similar to localbitcoins or bitcoin.de. We need a Poloniex replacement where people can freely exchange crypto to crypto in a decentralized way. I dont really care about fiat trading. |

i'm having trouble understanding how the bitcoin keeps rising in value after the split (and another potential split coming up...)
The split worked quite well for people since the combined value is much higher now. Maybe people are thinking it will be the same for the next potential split and is preparing by buying now. but it seems to me like much of the combined value at the current price is fluff that just appeared out of thin air. literally everyone just got free money |

Doubtlessly, bitcoin has given many people a living. Those who have invested in this digital currency awarded with enormous profits and as a matter of fact there living standards have also changed dramatically. As far as the change in its value is considered, it is crystal clear that Bitcoin prices are going to boost up and it surely will touch $4,000 within few weeks. However when it is converted into local currency of a country everyone receives different amount. In this way you can be millionaire in one part of the country but may not be the same everywhere. Still you will be richer than many others. |

Thats 4 block rewards, which I think is reasonable if you have been in the economy sub 1000 dollar bitcoin. this would assume that hits 10k, which will happen if we dont regulate it fully, and soon. Although I love bitcoin, under normal circumstances you would need to be an accredited investor to even participate in something this volatile. Let me define an accredited investor for those that arent aware: An accredited or sophisticated investor is an investor with a special status under financial regulation laws. The definition of an accredited investor (if any), and the consequences of being classified as such, vary between countries. Generally, accredited investors include high-net-worth individuals, banks, financial institutions and other large corporations, who have access to complex and higher-risk investments such as venture capital, hedge funds and angel investments.
The ostensible purpose of the status designation is to protect potential investors from risk. The assumption underlying accreditation is that individuals or organizations who qualify will have sufficient financial sophistication to understand and take on the risks associated with certain investment offerings. Laws may require that some types of financial offerings may only be made to accredited investors.[1] this is very few of us  assume bitcoin will touch 5k-7k in your lifetime, because honestly I dont believe bitcoin will persist. there are actually better options at this point, bitcoin simply has the most trust. look at undervalued assets. bitcoin is in a bubble folks; this valuation is not real one bit. |

Trust is all it needs to stay ahead. Sod technical merits. That counts for nothing without trust. That trust was earned by years of relentless battering. What appear to be technical merits with alts may well turn to disaster if they were tested in the same way Bitcoin has. That's why all this fork and split stuff is so dicey. If the trust is thrown away there's not much left. But yes, these prices feel rather hard to justify. |
