I understand that the Off-Topic section is for random banter, meme's, counting games, etc. but can we please get a child board and stick all the annoying reputation threads in there? I love going to the off-topic section but it's becoming more of a chore due to having to sort through all those stupid threads. If this has been proposed somewhere I apologize for starting a new thread about it.

Maybe if we have enough threads in here about them, they'll do something about them.

There's too much on-topic clutter in the off-topic board!

I think an entire child board in Trading Discussion for rep threads would be good.

I think they should just ban everyone who makes a rep thread. They're all scammers or proto-scammers.

What happened to OTC anyway?

The thing is it's no more off-topic as all these topics have the same purpose
Hence a new (sub-)board

Yeah, after each transaction they ask if their trading partner would write something good about them, but IF the trading partner is actually satisfied with the trade, they would actually leave good feedback themselves.
Instead they feel the need to make a reputation thread, which in my opinion is not needed.

I find these reputation threads to be very messy ways of tracking reputation. I don't know whether I want to encourage them by creating a section for them.

Looks like they don't really need encouragement

Am I allowed to discourage them? I have some... shall we say... ways to make them unviable.

Yes, the off-topic forum has been ruined.

Please do something about this.

If its a reputation thread for a service they are providing, then move it to a service thread or service discussion.

greyhawk: are you suggesting posting in those threads that the guy scammed you?

What? Who? Me? Never.

There's much better ways to make these threads... interesting.

Well, at this point, they're almost taking over Off-topic. Their continued existence, it seems, is enough to encourage more. It's time something is done, either to remove them entirely to discourage them, or put them in their own section to corral them.

I would suggest putting them in a separate and hard to find section.

10 more rep thread creators added to my iggy box. This is absolutely insane. What I am noticing, When I go to ignore the OP of a rep thread in off topic, who ever replies in these are already ignored from creating a rep thread. I see a pattern here.
