Why they should not extend the duration of the ICO.

*Before the ico launched, they communicated the 1 week duration.
*They already hit soft cap, extending would only serve as a money grabbing move.
*if they extend until after segwit2x, it's possible they might sell out, this means less tokens get burned at the start, and it will take closer to 15 instead of the current 6-7 years to burn the remaining tokens @50mil/year. this would both hurt the price on exchanges.

Just posting this because I've seen some people asking or suggesting to extend the ico duration, and because that's a horrible idea

I agree with you, now extending the ICO wouldn't look good. They could have still done it just before the ICO started with the reason of segwit2x. But now, after hitting soft cap, it would look a bit greedy   After all, it was just an idea here in the thread and there's no reason to believe that they think about an extension.

Its super rigged if they extend ico after hitting softcap. I would loose all trust in utrust...

Actually, they raised a respectable amount already but still, they can raise more if they extend it just for 10 more days.

They have sold around 42% what is a lot of for this moment. Maybe after the fork they can sell more if they extend the ICO.

I was wondering myself why they chose such a short ICO, usually devs decide to have a long one and get some extra founds but i guess Utrust team is confident enough to have it opened just for 1 week.

people investing in 1-st days or in last day mainly. Good project raising money in short time, not necessary in long crowdsale.

SOMA did the same. they extended their ICO by 2 weeks. these projects just scheduled their ICO's poorly, without taking the fork into account.

I don't think there is any chance that the ICO will be extended, utrust reached their softcap and the project will go ahead, they have decided to delay launches on exchanges etc until after segwit2x, that's just good business sense in my mind.

Exactly, I've seen this in EasyMine ICO, long crowdsale, like 2 months, they reached something like 3400 eth in a small time and then that bar simply tanked till the end of ICO.They hardcoded ICO end in the smart contract at a certain ETH block but blocktime went really up, that's why their ICO was so long

Bittrex usually lists big coins quite quickly. Maybe Liqui as well.

Perhaps Bittrex will start adding perspective coins soon, 2 good exchanges is already an excellent result. We are waiting for a coin on the exchange with impatience.
