I found this inside the github.com source from the link provided.  Commented out code, with the other function GetBlockValue() active (inside the source).  Someone with more understanding of how the coin system works, can someone use this as a method of premining???  If so, I have lost all interest I had in new coins I had (although most seems like crap anyway!).

Well, the coin IS a few years old. So it's not like you can expect a fresh blockchain.

I think LQC has more to offer than people could imagine . I would rather go with an older blockchain that has stood the test of time. Over jumping on the new Crap coins that have been coming out. I have waste my hash rate on all the new crap that has been coming out only for it to fail due to design .But yet here we have a Coin that has been around for 2-3 years and still going strong

Because I have wasted a lot of time on the new alt-coins and the developers messed it up. So all that mining was worthless. People keep coming up with new alt-coins when we have proven Coins like LQC that have stood the test of time and are still here and functional. We should look into the past to help our future.
