We are looking for chances to serve the community, and we are starting with this survey (market research). By filling out the survey, you will have a chance to win ETH.

If you are curious about the draw and wonder if it's fair, it was implemented as follow and it's reproducible:

1. We obtained a seed number from the sum of every qualified timestamp. Refer to the A112 in the Result Spreadsheet.

2. Run the following Python script.

Brand new account offering a nice prize but without escrow = no one is going to participate, even though the task is very simple but I think the draw wont happen...ever...unless OP put the prize on trusted escrow.

It's not easy for a new member to find a trusted escrow to put the prize on, and costly to write a smart contract to sending out 1 ETH. Our original plan is to use timestamp as a seed for the random function to make the draw fair, transparent and random. However, I think your advice is pretty helpful too. if you don't mind, would you like to be one of our trusted escrow where you can audit the survey result, and make sure no one is manipulating it and the draw happens when it reaches 100 participants?


(We can choose three Hero member to view the responding file to make sure the survey data is not manipulated, and the draw will happen when the number of participants reaches 100. )

By the way, where is the contest section?

OP actually, this is NOT a contest so don't listen and post this in the contest thread... but please edit your first post and explain that this is a survey (market research) with a chance to win some prizes just for participating. You want to get good, accurate results for your research, don't you? Then don't run this as a contest or you will get more than half fake entrants.

It's better to give some advertisements  about your site in some famous ptc sites or in some adnetworks like mellowads or cointraffic. If you do so you will get a lot of visitors daily to your site.
