No most people still don't know what Bitcoin is and that is very telling. It's actually surprising because how much do you have to live under a rock to not hear about it?

Indeed many are illiterate about this thing, and here in my country only small percentage I think does know on this bitcoin thing. I know we are young when it comes to become popular in the whole world but I see that this gonna be fun if many would know and better aware about bitcoin. I see also that it will be known or be popular if the value of bitcoin will be that high by even a $10k, I may predict just between the two it may be a panic buying or vast bitcoin selling.
In my country also very less people know about bitcoin and when I say about bitcoin also they look me as huh? Is it possible? Like that, but bitcoin was already legalized in my country. Soon everyone will start to know about bitcoin because the price reached the new era, it is continuously started to increase so it will attract many people towards it.I am happy that I already got the knowledge of bitcoin and I am earning from it.  |

Thats true....only a few people has heard about BTC or Crypto market. That means BTC got a huge potential to grow in upcoming years. Even people who heard about BTC, don't know how to invest in it. It will take some time to create awareness about Crypto market and to gain people trust in it. Well, we got the advantage of being first mover in crypto-society.

Bitcoin is still a relatively new concept for many people as they have no background whatsoever in cryptocurrencies either. But as time passes the interest and demand for bitcoin will increase because of it's great flexibility and price growth. It also depends from nation to nation as the technological factor plays a important role too. |

I'm not surprised by this, bitcoin is going to take the world by storm, bitcoin will go from being mostly unknown to be everywhere in some decades, and young people will not remember the world without bitcoin the same way people of today cannot imagine the world without the internet. |

I'm not surprised by this, bitcoin is going to take the world by storm, bitcoin will go from being mostly unknown to be everywhere in some decades, and young people will not remember the world without bitcoin the same way people of today cannot imagine the world without the internet. Completely agree with you and its just a matter of time and in future majority of the people will be holding bitcoins and using it for different purposes as bitcoin is still new and has not reached everywhere yet but sooner or latter people will start noticing it and at that time we will be treated as an early adoptors of bitcoin which will be sitting at very comfortable position. |

This is not surprising really. Majority of the population is not fond of using the internet for reasons like they don’t have the means to access or simply because they’re just not that interested. I just had a chat with one of my in-laws in China and she haven’t even heard of bitcoin..and she’s a teacher! But she’s looking into it now..  |

altcoin and HYIP really work to get people interested and know bitcoin as a conversion center, even if it is bad, but it is a fact in my country they are happy with simple things and do not need much thought. I'm very happy to see them finally understand trading, and start picking out which good crypto business is their source of revenue. Crypto pump and high price increases will continue to spread excitement and make people more interested to spread it. |

Yes. Most people do not know about what bitcoin yet is. Because I think people have not yet discovered what it is. But often many people have heard about bitcoin but most of them they are not interested. And some people what others think bitcoin is a scam, so bitcoin does not spread too much because it does not communicate with others in a good way. I think if they will spread bitcoin in a good way many people would be interested to use bitcoin.

Also most of the people around the world is accustomed in real money while BTC is a virtual currency they are also hesitant about it because they cannot hold it or they cannot physicaly see it they are also afraid to take risk in BTC because there is no physical moderator of it like banks do

In the case of my country, I have never encountered someone personally who is doing Bitcioin activities like me. Only those who introduced Bitcoin to me are familiar and utilizing Bitcoin. But there are some who is familiar with Bitcoin and when they saw me doing Bitcoin activities, they are actually asking me to teach them.
This means that yes it may not be popular yet today, but people are open minded about it. In the future it will grow and be used by more people than today.

This is not surprising really. Majority of the population is not fond of using the internet for reasons like they don’t have the means to access or simply because they’re just not that interested. I just had a chat with one of my in-laws in China and she haven’t even heard of bitcoin..and she’s a teacher! But she’s looking into it now.. She does not know Bitcoin because she did not care it through news paper, social ... Honestly, even gammers in my country still know Bitcoin through online or purchase to buy games, therefore I do not think we have many difficulties to know Bitcoin because it is really famous recently. Beside that, this is China, one of countries has a lot of Bitcoin users in the Bitcoin community. |

In my opinion i think that they already know about bitcoins and also how much the value of it but they do not really know how to earn it. Maybe if everyone know's how this forum works then everyone will focus on earning bitcoins and reduce the employment rate of country. |

I think there are still many people who do not know the bitcoin. if more and more are aware of bitcoin should be the price of bitcoin has become very expensive, because bitcoin price depends on market demand, the more demand or many who know bitcoin so bitcoin will be more difficult to obtain and the price is very expensive. |

Yes, you have a point. There are still lots of people that not even heard about bitcoin even stores that located here in country and only online shops are only accept bitcoin as payment if were going to buy their items. Even they heard already they keep ignoring it. I think they don't even trust the transaction of bitcoin in short they don't want to used bitcoin to their business. |

I think it is really good that most of the people don't know what is bitcoin. This means that we are among the 1% (not sure about the percentage) of people that have known bitcoin sooner. That time when all of people know what is bitcoin and need that for their life, the price will be much higher than today. So we will be rich.
because not all of them are accessing internet. and they are not interested. but once they knew it curiosity might kill them. bcoz at first you might find it unfamiliar but as you continue, you understand these things |

Technological unaware/unfriendly folks have never heard about it. Even if they have been told by someone, they will not believe in this thing. I discussed about BTC with one of my Uncle, he refuses to believe with the fact that people all around the world are making transactions with a currency which is not authorized by any of the govt in the world and whose legal status is not clear yet.
