Don't want to be rude, but it's only 34 pages to read here, and it has ben mentioned on quite a few of them.
Anyways: it was a marketing move. Those tokens were giving you 20% discount when buying CNX COINS on ICO. You log onto your ETH wallet, you see the tokens, you search the internet and you get to that topic, or even better, to the ICO page.

At the moment we do not make buyback, the decision is made by the team depending on the situation and reserves availability to do that.
