It is true that trading is more profitable than holding bitcoin. Holding bitcoin is like waiting for minimal chances of increases in the price even if we know that the volatility of the coins are too much unpredictable. Why not trade while you hold bitcoin? That is what I do. I do trading while holding bitcoin because the price of bitcoin will not always go up and we know that. Another is that most of my bitcoins came from doing signature campaigns and trading altcoins so trading comes so useful and profitable to me. I can’t just wait for the price to pump because most of the time it takes time before a good pump comes to bitcoin. |

I think it's just the same. However, a couple of weeks until the end of the month is nice to hold and not trading bitcoin altcoin for a while.

Both are profitable.but I like to do altcoin trade.its gives me much profit instead of holding bitcoin.last month i earned about $400 from Monaco trading.its only possible for altcoin trade.I am a crypto trader so i like to do altcoin trade mostly instead of bitcoin holding.
In order to earn a good amount of profit from altcoin trading, the person must have a great amount of a particular altcoin also. Otherwise, holding one or two monaco cannot give that big a profit within a month. However, if a person had bought a bitcoin last month when the price was 3200 dollars and hold it for a month, he would have earned a profit of almost 1100$. If a person does not have good trading skills or is a lazy one, hodling is better. Sure! Trading cannot always be for everyone cause there are normally some attributes every trader must have even before learning and after learning, if those attributes are not there, then it will be hard to practice. For example, I always say it that a very greedy person cannot trade no matter the lessons they have learnt it just cannot work and also an extremely emotional person cannot even try it. To learn is easy honestly, cause there are so many materials online to make a prospectus trader get on quickly but something must just be in place. Greedy people actually holding means they are investing there coins and hold there coins for a long while which is positive thing in bitcoin while if greedy people in real life then we should not consider them with bitcoin relations. |

Holding bitcoin is more profitable. If someone wants to earn profits from trading, the first condition is that the asset being traded must increase in price quickly. However, no altcoin shows fast progress in prices. Simply holding onto bitcoin for few weeks can give more money than trading altcoins. Trading bitcoin is actually the best but a lot risky as bitcoin is very valuable. |

Both are profitable it depends on the market price. If you have bitcoin bought at $1000 dollars you now had a very huge profit. There are also altcoins that are good to trade since they are still low but do not trade all because it still can go high especially if the project is good.

I think both are profitable to do.
Trading with altcoins can be a short term and long term profit, it's actually depends what kind of trader are you.
While holding bitcoin is alwaya profitable because the price increases every now and then and the more bitcoin you hold the higher the chance of having a lot of profit.

Once you have got bitcoin we can benefit by holding. we have to make sure that our wallet is secure.Bitcoin go up in value due to the scarcity.Bitcoin is often referred to digital gold,there is a large tendency for all human to get something that is in short of supply and bitcoin is the first global currency that is not controlled by bank or government.Altcoin is most likely to lose value over the long run,Altcoin tend to be better market to trade than to invest.if we hold altcoin for a long term it may or may not lose, because of this uncertainty I prefer not to keep holding altcoin.

I agree with you, bitcoin holding is more profitable than altcoin trading because bitcoin prices always go up even if we buy at high prices though, and I also prefer to hold bitcoin instead of altcoin trading, I only do altcoin trading to add my bitcoin when I buy bitcoin in the price is expensive and does not show any movement up or down |

I agree with you, bitcoin holding is more profitable than altcoin trading because bitcoin prices always go up even if we buy at high prices though, and I also prefer to hold bitcoin instead of altcoin trading, I only do altcoin trading to add my bitcoin when I buy bitcoin in the price is expensive and does not show any movement up or down I beg to disagree, but altcoin trading is very profitable as long as you trade carefully. Lets say you start to trade alt with 0.1btc and within a year you made 1bitcoin so you gain 0.9btc. If you hold your 0.1 btc on your wallet? I say you do both and make more btc. |

When you talk of profitability as far as I believe trading in more profitable as compared to holding altcoins, although there are a lot of challenges when it comes to trading in crypto currency. It Is easy and more profitable for those who are good in trading crypto currency and very risky for those who don't know how to trade. But I will like to recommend holding Bitcoin for those who don't know how to trade and trading for those who how to trade crypto currency.
It totally depends on the user how he want to make money trading needs the user determination as well as more skills but holding is best because there is no such thing one has to do with his coin simply buy and do nothing and wait for the right time to struck to achieve good piece of profit and this wy is more beneficial for those who are doing part time in crypto. |

Bitcoin remains to be the top cryptocurrency and all other altcoins want to be like bitcoin. The trust of the community makes bitcoin a very stable currency to hold with long term profits evident even from this year's rise alone. I'd rather hodl as much btc than trade in altcoins I am not sure about.

That depends if the owner/user wants to earn more or earn small. If you are really dedicated to do earn more money, then trading altcoins is better. Holding bitcoin is not always profitable compared to trading altcoins since the value of bitcoin doesn't always rise up. You also don't have the control over your earnings from holding bitcoin in your wallet unlike in trading wheree you can do a lot of thing on your altcoins. Holding is good if a crypto is on its way up, but for most cases, trading altcoin is still more profitable and safer. |

Yes hold is gold .Bitcoin price already hit near 6000$ after this year it will be 8000$ .SO i think bitcoin is better than altcoin. |

Everyone here is giving their opinion about one at a time, either bitcoin or altcoin. Don’t you think it would be amazing if we combine both in our business? It means, you buy bitcoins and hold them for better profits. Likewise trade in altcoins as they don’t involve time taking decisions. So better is to trade in altcoins and then sell them for bitcoins to buy more bitcoins and hold them. |

I think's the two of them is significant in terms of trading.altcoins and bitcoins these two have a great responsibility,not because its alcoins you can trade it easily or it is bitcoin you can hold it,its better that you trade this two or hold it in times of hardfork comes or either the value turns down or up. |

I think trading of altcoin and holding of bitcoin both are better. If we differentiate in these both lite coin is new emerging currency I think we should change our priorities. For a good future we should take the option of trading instead of holding bitcoin because it will grow in the future and we will trade this currency.

However, trading alts, increases your coin, not the value, which means as your coin is increasing, the value is increasing as well but not that simple. Cause the same way your coin can increase, is the same way it can reduce in value. |
