When sell ETH for BTC?

No way we can tell what should you do because market is not predictable. If we know what will happened then no way we can asked this kind of question. The moment you sold your bitcoins to ETH means you accept all the risks associated to that.

Back before solding your bitcoins to ETH, what things you have in your mind? What analyzation you made? What you think will happen? Now put that thinking on vice versa since you able to do it on first and goes now for the final decision.

It is true, that the decision on dealing with trading a part of bitcoin and ethreum and as a part of investments and a way to earn is always depends on how you are going to set your goals and to have a better option on transaction and dealing with crypto-currency that could also be a vital part for bitcoin development in terms of transaction and its price.

The exchange rate of Ethereum has almost halved from the peak prices of around BTC0.14 to BTC0.07 as of now. And IMO, it will continue to fall, although the decline will be somewhat slowed by the tokens. Even at the current prices of ~$300 per coin, Ethereum looks quite a bit overpriced. And how can you justify a market cap of $30 billion for a currency, which is used by less than 1 million people?

No, I am sure it will not drop again, prices are falling just as the Chinese ban icos and all people panic, but this time was back to normal. ETH has a stronger support so it will continue to increase and will not be disturbed by the negative issue

yes that is right that the bad new effect the market and create a little panic but now i think the market is getting back to its position therefore i think that the price of bitcoin is trading in a low price and if some one can manage to invest money there it will be a right decision, i think that the price will continue increasing tell it will reach to 8000$ because of the increasing interest of the people.

I will never ever sell my bitcoins for altcoins whether it is eth, neo or waves. Eth does not have potential of surpassing bitcoins no matter how large supporters it attracts. Eth is the worst competitor of bitcoins and they are all the time working to beat bitcoins but I know they won’t succeed ever.

Hi all,

1 month before segwit I sold my BTC for ethereums and was sure that it will grows as fast as btc. It was not smart decision I know.

But now I see that it is ±300$ all the time when bitcoin is close to 4300$... I regret that didn't sold my eth for btc once segwit happened...

But I hope that 4300$ is not maximum of bitcoin price in this year so I am planning to sell my ethereums. But I don't know when to do that. I feel bitcoin correction in near time so maybe it is better to wait a bit? But I am not sure about eth price in near time.

What to do?

I heard this september ETH will do fork the possibility of ETH price will go up so wait until september, if bitcoin is currently the right moment to buy BTC because current price still cheap right now

i think this time is the good time to buy eth before the price is increase back to the price before. and if you have eth, you can hold it and wait for the high price. i am not planning to sell eth if the price is not more than 0.1xxxx per 1 eth because my feeling tells that eth price will reach so high and this is why until now i am sell and only hold my eth.

ETH is going to be high day by day yesterday i though i would like to buy some but i  missed a chance because it were 341USD now it is 366USD so it is quite gab between both rates so we need to buy ETH because it will grow like bitcoin so it is the right time to buy some ETH to have more income in future so good luck men.

This is always the question we hear about in trading. When to sell, in this case an Eth. First be sure  you have a target price to sell the said token. If you do not have a target price, then it seems you do not know when. Of course your target Selling price is above the price when you bought it or sell it for a profit.

No matter what happens, never sell for loss. Wait for ETH to go back up before deciding to sell it. Yeah, you missed the train for BTC. Do not do the same mistake with ETH. Once the price of BTC slows down, the price of ETH will recover and go back up. Then you can sell your ETH and convert it to BTC. That way you will still make profit even though it will take longer time.

While I’m behind this most of the time, this strategy is the most effective for long term holders since you can wait for the price to recover and then make profits that way, but when it comes to day trading sometimes the best thing you can do is to accept the fact that you did not read the markets as you should and stop your losses before they become significant.

I will sell ETH for $425, if we can manage to see this value. I don't think ether can go much further than this. It made a bullish action enough. Thanks god, bitcoin price didn't drop thus ETH is valuble too.

The most important thing is not the price in dollars but the price in bitcoin at the moment ETH is very cheap, when it reached its all time high ETH was valued at 0.14BTC now the current price is half of that at 0.07BTC this is not the moment to sell this is the moment to buy ETH if you want to make profits in the next months or years, since bitcoin is close to its highest price while ETH seems to be undervalued.

That is a good thing for us to always keep on mind for. We can always seek our ethereum or any other altcoin for us convert it on Bitcoin , yet we should always consider thinking on the thing we should need to know. First is how we would earn on that specific scenario. Because if we could not earn on that specific decision why would we sell. We should always take our transaction as a part of trading so that we could earn.

Target selling price can be below the purchase price as well, when the future outlook is very bleak and you are trying to cut your losses. For example, I would advice someone who purchased ETH at $400 per token a few months back to convert his coins to BTC, at current prices of $320. Obviously, the individual will suffer loses. But a loss of 20% now is better than losing 80% later.

Sell you Eth if you are in profit already, or you can set at your own price. problem sometimes is that you do not know when to sell if you do not have a target.In this case, just hold until you need some funds. Better to review your assets weekly or monthly so that you know what percentage of profit you have now, and decide to sell if you want it.

I think you don’t have to sell ETH for BTC. Reason is the markets of both coins. Both ofcoins have some good repute and they are top two coins recently. Don’t sell rather keep them in your wallet and wait for some good lucky times of you and then sell both at a time and enjoy a happy ending of trading phase.

For me, just keep your ethereem and hold it just what you do on your bitcoins. Because eth is also a big name in the altcoin industry and they are the most successful altcoins among all those altcoins. With that we can say that the ethereum coins have the potential to grow even more and it is a great investment more a long time purposes because the value of rise changes from time to time, not that fast as bitcoins but still growing and it is a good start.

Why did you sell your ETH for BTC? ETH is about to pump in the next few weeks. I guess its from the ETH price 0.077BTC to 0.2BTC thats more than 2X. Then sell from the TOP. Now you have 2X more BTC.

I did not think so he did anything wrong. Eth is nothing as compared to bitcoins and selling them off for bitcoins is quite smart move. Even if the eth pumps in coming weeks, it will still be less in worth than bitcoins. It is never bad or regretful to invest into bitcoins especially with these altcoins.

Ethereum has a good feature and that is the smart contracts and because of that there is no escape for using ethereum as a fee and one of the primary coin to invest to different ICOs so i think ethereum is designed perfectly for our world while bitcoin only focus on payment system and i believe that these two can work together to come up with the best cryptocurrency for our world.

ETH is one great altcoin to have, it might not reach or overtake the value as Bitcoin soon enough, but it will show some great movements in the near future. The features are just more than many other casual altcoins, so obviously it is wise to keep it. Moreover I accept Bitcoin is the King, but its foolish to just stick to one and invest on it only, where you have many like Bitcoin.

Ethereum is one of the pioneer in cryto currency world, I believe that the potential of this altcoin is limitless, also due good movement of ethereum in the market there's a lots of investors were attracted to join in ethereum project.
