Actually, these guys may not be using their money but wasting a lot of time on these things and as per me, time is nothing but money. And this kind of people slowly they will addict to these games and may start using their money to gamble. That's why it is not good to gamble every day. I mostly never use faucet money to play instead just load small amount and enjoy my free time.
It is true that people starts out with faucet and then gets hooked into the game and starts depositing money but the problem is that the price of bitcoin is increasing and from what i think it has to do with the new rule implementation to ban faucet only players. It is a fair rule and with the release of their forum it is done to avoid abuse.

Primedice has been the most used most trusted dice game out there for about what 3-4 years now (maybe even 5?) and they are starting to lose people if you ask me. Primedice can’t stay like this forever, they need to change constantly to keep people, we all played there, we all gambled but it gets boring and repetitive after a while. Why bet on primedice when you can bet on a casino with 300+ games? The only reasonable explanation would be the trust and that can keep it afloat so far.

There's no casino with 300+ provably fair games. Don't underestimate the power of simplicity. That being said there have already been 4 versions of primedice within 4 years, so expect improvements and changes.

Well I mean that you should mention it somewhere. The rule is OK.
They should have announced before implementing new rules but it is a good one and every gambling site should follow this to get rid of faucet hunters I do open new account when ever i roll in Prime dice because i hate going back to an account even if i win big or loss ,so i really do not bother about faucets in the first place. Since it is their site and they are giving free coins so they can change it anytime unless if it is a player deposit going to affect, then they must need to announce in advance. These faucet coins are for trying a game in the beginning, and later site owners expect people to deposit and play. But people only play with faucet money then there is no meaning in running a business, so most of the sites will put a restriction on these faucet abusers.

Pretty soon there will be no more faucets because the abuses are just becoming more and more common. Many new gambling sites have nothing but issues with faucet farmers. There was a guy on another thread where he made like 40 alts, got caught, and started FUDing the gambling site because they refused his withdraws.
The best way to handle this would be to make the site "demo mode" or bet with "play money" instead of these faucets. It would get rid of all these faucet hunters and improve speed and lower withdraws fees for everybody.

I'm sure most gambling sites that has faucet knows how to deal with those faucet farmers. Faucet is a promotional thing for gambling site, so if a site decide to remove the faucet then they needs to be ready to lose new customers who want to try. So removing the faucet is not the only way to avoid faucet farmers.

Is it really so hard to stop abusers like him? I think it doesn't even need much of a human intervention. Just suspend the withdrawals from accounts tipped more then 15 times per week. I know some legit players can be tipped more than that but there are very few of them so they can be easily whitelisted. What do you guys think?

This kind of limit is no good. i think it would be better to have something like users with balance greater than 10+ mbtc will be able to tip( i think kingdice have something like this) or those who've wagered at least 100 mbtc or higher.

No need to restrict every account that are getting tipped more than 15 times per week but they can monitor the accounts with more tips and cross check their IP address and give them a straight out ban rather than restricting every account or limiting or removing the faucets and it is not a big deal to verify the IP address.

the faucet and the limit on the faucet differ from site to site some new sites give out big amounts of money with their free faucets to attract players there is a very low chance for a player to start depositing to a new casino without trying it out first on the other hand ,Primedice is an established site with a huge player base so if they see that the amount of money they give away through their free faucet doesn't serve its initial purpose of attracting new players they may as well cut it down

So if you are autobetting, it wont eat your bank-balance on a big red streak.

Some can be that they hope that you set the autobet on and leave and don't notice it wipe out your balance. Another reason is they hope instead of clicking "2X" and hope you accidently click on "MAX" by accident and drain your entire balance in one roll. I think most people just deposit a small portion that they are comfortable losing instead.

I know for sure that duckdice introduced the banking balance it seemed to be a brilliant idea, but how many players are using it with the 0.01 limit? I wouldn't want to be constrained by such a limitation and primedices's banking accounts work better and easier to use but of course, duckdice prohibits the use of alt accounts, you can only have one with them

we all gambled but it gets boring and repetitive after a while. Why bet on primedice when you can bet on a casino with 300+ games? The only reasonable explanation would be the trust and that can keep it afloat so far.
Trust is a very important thing when it comes to gambling and people go there because of that and there is a lot of changes as of lately and they are focusing more time on improving the site and like stunna said all the sites that give more games how can you make sure that they are provably fair. There will be scheduled DB maintenance on Monday around 4AM Forum time.
So that means that the deposit address will change and people who do not notice that will sent their coins to their old address and have to wait for some time to get their coins .
