Is it normal for a multi-billion USD online casino operation to ignore its threads on Bitcointalk, the birthplace of its operation?

This can never be normal. Not because the forum is the birthplace of the casino, or because the casino has the right to advertise on other platforms, or perhaps just the casino’s own channels, but because this official announcement is the official channel for communicating with the community and interacting with it, especially if there are complaints about the service.

It would have been better for the casino team to maintain its activity on the forum even if they decided to stop all advertising campaigns on it. With the passage of time, they will certainly discover that this is a mistake that could have been avoided, especially since all competitors are present on the forum and do not neglect their official channels.

Is primedice the biggest BTC casino? Is there a ranking somewhere?

I do not think this is the case, and I will not greatly believe any study because I consider that the absence of accurate data will not lead to credible results. I believe that Primedice is one of the best casinos ever that has proven its professionalism over the years, but the field of the crypto-based gambling industry is still in the early stages of its development and there is no follow-up and studies that include all the companies active in it to conclude which one is the best.

I answered your question abstractly because I did not understand the relationship of your question to the content of the quote in your comment. The discussion was going in a different direction, as I thought.

Frankly speaking, I don't think they care about PD too much now Cheesy.

Primedice was and probably will always be the best and most trusted dice-only casino there ever was but the gambling industry has evolved and that's why they created the sister site Stake and now taking a step further they are investing in other businesses outside gambling, like kick, which benefits stake directly as their streamers can play and attract more players Wink.

I am expecting PD to slow down and after a while, everyone will move to Stake.

Well maybe they are not in focus with PD but for sure they still care about it since this is good business for them that generates some good profits to them.

Yes one of the best dice site exist since they manage to last for long decades with good trust score to the people test to use their casino. And good thing that they adopt the changes since that's how they can take advantage on certain situation which people like that's why maybe they are in focus to market stake since they see more profits from rather than their other gambling site.

Well that might gonna happen in future so let see how everything goes with them since its still a  win situation for them since they convince people with this for not going on other casino.

Is primedice the biggest BTC casino? Is there a ranking somewhere?
The term big is relative and unless you define a parameter, the term has not significance. If you talk in terms of number of bets, then the casinos running older than primedice are bigger than it. If you talk about bankroll, then not everyone has a publicly declared bankroll so hard to comment.

I dont think there is a ranking anywhere but among popularity back in 2014-2017 era, before their sister site stake was made the center of attraction, primedice was very popular.

It still is, but the chat is only a spamfest because of the rain and many older users have left to move on to different sites.

I am expecting PD to slow down and after a while, everyone will move to Stake.
I assume that PD will still be loved by its loyal users as there are still many who play dice there, although there may also be some who switch to Stake, there's nothing that can be done but it seems PD is quite happy with their current users so there isn't much marketing done by them. PD except for prize events that make people want to play dice on PD again, but so far I still play sometimes on PD even though I spend more time playing on Stake.

But there is nothing that compares the two because so far PD is still standing by their dice game concept and I'm not sure they will close it and switch everything to Stake, because as far as I know PD users are still very active in playing dice gambling there even though sometimes it slows down, they remains active in holding prize events for loyal users on this forum. PD and Stake will run concurrently although Stake is more in demand now
