Depend on your salary:
- If your salary is good you should spend around 10-15% your salary to spend on your needs , in your case i don't know you have a family or not? If you have a family with wife and kids, i guess you have to spend 35-45% your salary for it. I know bitcoin is a good investment but investing in your kid is the most smart invesment, trust me.
- If your salary is normal, you should spend around 20-25% for your needs,if you have family , make it 40-55%.
- If your salary is low, please spend 50-65% for your needs , if you have family, make it 60-75%.

I can suggest that 20% is a good percentage of your salary. It is also up to you how much are you willing to invest. Mine is 70% alotted to my daily needs 20% goes to investments and 10% to emergency fund. But if you could limit your daily expenses that would be much better.

If you are not trading 50% is enough for your expenses but for some traders maybe 20% of salary and 30% for you to trade. And the 50% remaining it would be enough to stay on your wallet.

After you pay all your obligations and daily needs the sum you have left you should further divide. You should always have in mind the Bitcoin is volatile and investment in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies brings certain risk. So don't invest everything, take about 10% of the amount you have and the rest you put somwhere else.

In my opinion, I do not need to use my monthly income to invest in trading, Why do you need to use your salary to invest in bitcoins while instead you can work on campaigns and use it as a capital to start trading. You can also build your mining rig and the only problem you will have is your electricity consumption but your still earning coins passively.

My salary was divided into different expenses. If I converted to percentage my salaries maybe 10% for utilities and bills, 30% for the needs of my kids then almost 40% for foods together with groceries 20% for my savings and the remaining is for other matters. Moreover my income in bitcoin bitcoin was still remain into my wallet.

This thing should really be always done on which before we do decide on putting up funds on bitcoin better to secure first your obligations or payables and the money left would be divided either for your pocket money then investment on bitcoin. Any investment do really comes a risk but if you can able to afford on putting huge percentage then its your choice but dont really forget on the risk behind it because here on bitcoin world anything doesnt have an assurance that things would go as we expected.

Dividing salary, it could be prioritizing my primary needs , the rest will be pocketed and a piece of 10% for investment and 10% for God's glory.

First calculate the need you need to adequately out of it and reserve your salary to face the unexpected affair that requires funds from the salary.

Lol is that because of the high price of bitcoin currently?
I think it is still worth to keep buying bitcoin even you will get a little amount of bitcoin itself right now.
I even since last year improved my salary percentage to invest in cryptocurrency , so far i have got nice return.

I remember when I was an employee in the government, my expenses was higher than my salary. So, every time my salary comes it was so hard to budget my money. Consequently, I do cut loss my prime commodities to manage it properly.
We should always keep in mind that in order for us to earn we should also set goal a part of our earnings. And having to know that even in the real life base scenarion we could also do things like dividing our sallary for it to budget our needs in a daily life basis. Just like bitcoin we also need to manage a partial part on it to investments , trading so that we could earn more.

First calculate the need you need to adequately out of it and reserve your salary to face the unexpected affair that requires funds from the salary.

The right approach is to first pay off all your debts , monthly bill etc. Then what ever is left is your saving. Out of that keep small % every month as a contingency fund. Then rest of them you can invest in your diversify portfolio like stocks, currency, cyto currency etc. Ensure you do invest a small or whatever best you can invest in btc and good other altcoins .

Handling your salary on this way is wise on which you would able to impart those earnings of yours into the priorities which is always recommended specially if we are the ones who are only earning on the family. Its your job to divide those funds into their respective priorities and having a savings should really be obliged and those are the funds would be used as an investment later on.

I will advice never use your future saving amount to buy bitcoins. first you can make safe your life and next if anything left in your hand that you can invest in crypto coins. We don't know when we will need money that time the bitcoins will not help you because it is accepted and you can't convert BTC to your local currency immediately.

Don't spend something you can't afford to loose. So if you only have 5% free to use from your monthly salary then that should be the amount you would invest in. You have to put in mind that it is not all the time you make profits.

experience is important for investment in crypto, you could probably try a few percent, when you feel it's quite advantageous you can add several percents until it reaches 50%, because invest in crypto is highly profitable.
even you can get larger from your salary.

I don't think we require the experience to buy the bitcoins because op wish to divide his salary to invest in bitcoin platform.
I noticed 2 years before Dell and some other companies announced that they can give the salary in the form of bitcoins. There a many people do invest on bitcoin to buy the bitcoins that time especially from European country.

Yes if only buy bitcoin we did not need the experience, just buy and hold it. but I think if he wants to invest in other cryptocurrencies, such as altcoins we do need the experience because there are so many coins with different projects.

Your decision is totally based on the amount you are earning as salary and your responsibilities such as bills you have to pay and all. Once you can put that into consideration and you can afford to save upto at least 20%, I see no reason why you shouldn't. That is what I have always done anyway. However, the decision is yours if you know you can afford to loose it. Every investment comes with risks and bitcoin to me, I classify as mid risk investment.
