This coin has low reward for the first blocks. There is little, if any, reward for mining it early. If anything, early miners are subsidizing the coin rather than profiting for themselves
Do the math 20 per block is the final total right. 1 block per second at 1 per block = 20 2 per block = 40 I can keep going but more coins are still being generated now than there will be later people are still hoarding plenty of coins

The rewards scale up and don't become full until difficulty 1 is reached.
Right now, we are almost at difficulty 0.0625 at which point we should start to see normalization.
There's a reason early rewards were worth very little.
People with more hashpower have just that, more actual power. You can read up on what causes the orphans, but basically the fair launch I put in is the best way I can think of to make it fair.

until a time where a dev can figure out how to start with diff 1 or greater, all launches will just fail like this one.
A few people will suck up all the coins the rest will get little or nothing.
Well the people with a stack of coins already should stop and take a 10min break let some spread around. Yeah i second this... everyone stop mining pls so i can get a few coins

Would prefer a small trickle from a p2p pool if someone could set that up to getting lucky blocks.

Been mining with just one 7950 for 1hr 40min, not a single coin. Might go to bed a write it off as another waste of electricity.

Really? I found 2 blocks in 25 minutes with a 6950, both orphans Small sample size, I know... edit: make that 3:0 to the orphans...

its just sad always the same, the guys with the big botnets or EC2 farms kill it all. YAC was a bit different because of a modified crypto algorithm at least they could not use GPU at first. i think any new coin should use a different modified crypto algorithm, this would make things a bit more fair since GPUs are out of the game the first few hours. sad

Solomining is useless, blocks too fast. Need a p2pool
edit: It's another coin designed to fail when you compile in Linux, to make p2pool that much harder. Scamcoin again.

My fourth block worked, the only change I made was to add 'PORT=7998' (or whatever port you're using) in the .conf file.
I got exactly 11 coins though, I thought it was 8 per block?

Quick and dirty p2pool, might need small tuning. But i am blocking like hell with it.
