He's saying it's incomplete, like PHP without MySQL. The people who've compiled it probably did the workaround by getting files from the litecoin dist. Perhaps you could ask someone nicely to apply this to the official digitalcoin dist.

Or they compiled with make using makefile? It can't be missing anything. The Windows QT is from the same source.

Now I understand. That will come soon, it is not supported yet. You could do a workaround using litecoin and modifying it.

Sorry about that.

Just noticed that digitalcoin-qt is now re-downloading the block chain again. It was up to date an hour ago.  I hope I don't lose my coins.

Has something changed in the network? Mine is a virgin install, using the supplied binary, into a dedicated directory. How will deleting the data the client has created help?

santapedofil - you don't need the UI for anything.  Just run the daemon once to get it started and then you can do everything you need from the shell

whatevercoind help will give you a list of commands

wallet gets created automatically first time you run the daemon

No, this can happen in new networks for many different reasons.

What will help is adding just the IP included there as a node. The client will build your peer list from there.
