Has anyone been able to get a Kore wallet running on a raspberry pi? I just got one and I'm curious to see if it's possible before I start trying.

Thanks,
Sentacks

Yes sir, I can write it up if you are interested. I used the OpenSuse 64 bit distro.

Hiya J,

Awesome work on your KORE Rasperry pi setup!
Could you please put it in a doc and send to me in Discord so I could post it in the KORE OP page.

I wonder which celebrities would be interested in Kore.  I mean, they have to really appreciate their privacy.  I think this would be a good tool for them.

I wonder how much less energy consumption the PI has vs standard laptop for Kore coin staking.  Anyone know where I can find some info on this?

I think there are forum channels for pi.
Do a search I'm sure others have noted how many wallets use what hardware.
You need to consider the amount of coins, in how many addresses, and how individual wallets stake.
KORE uses near the least resources of all my staking wallets.
I wonder if there is some kind of task manager/system monitor for a pi...

I am diving deeper into Kore and PI for that matter.  I will let you know if I find a task manager or the like.

Cheers

A significant victory for privacy in India. This also deters other countries from collecting large scale biometric data IMO.

https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2017/09/aadhaar-worlds-largest-biometric-database/538845/

As a member of the Kore community, I am excited for this technology to reach people that need it most. The folks in India have their privacy extremely compromised and they need a way to be anonymous.

If people think their voice print, Iris scans and fingerprints from their phone use is not being stored in a biometric database
they are ignorant or seriously underestimate what the heck has been going on.
Besides what they are doing with our DNA whenever they have a chance to steal it.

Good question
Out of the box you can rpc or ssh into them with a little configduration.

I will have to look and see what kind of tools have been built on that

Each individual is continually engaged in a personal adjustment process in which he balances the desire for privacy with the desire for disclosure and communication of himself to others, in light of the environmental conditions and social norms set by the society in which he lives.

I will second that. He is a fantastic project manager and I'm sure with his guidance this coin will do well Smiley

Balance,.. Yes.
But at the discretion of each individual with whom and how much they wish to communicate and disclose
and any services they use should be respective of the individual's right to choose
rather than the very avenue by which metadate is gathered.
