I think this will end in time. In 2014 altcoins raised, everybody created a copy coin. In 2017 ICO thing blow up and everybody start a crowdfunding. Even if they don't have a new bright idea, they steal prosiming ideas from other projects. we saw a lot of copy project. Next year I don't think we'll see tihs madness. Because first of all people don't invest too much, that won't be too profitable. And they run out of ideas, people can't invest copy projects. Only few good ones will be left.

But I hope that in 2018 developers will undergo some kind of audit. Because a lot of slag appeared.

I do not think this is going to happen they are very happy with the way things are at the moment so unless not being audited affected their interest you should not expect that to happen anytime soon, they are earning a lot of money for a project they have not developed, from their point of view everything is great.

yeah. there is should be a solution to maintain good ico to develop instead a slack ico who only want to be rich. but too bad aduting seems so hard.

I hope the ICO market will be regulated or self regulated one way or the other by 2018. In which case, the number of ICO every month might go down but that's only good for the overall crypto market. At the moment, it's such a mess, just can't keep up with it. Most of the ICOs are asking for massive amount of money for adding little or no value.

In my opinion, ICOs will become more regulated in 2018 in most countries. SEC has already made the first step towards it.

I think this one you said is true, Because as I remembered my country created a coin I don't if last year or this year January where the was started from the crowdfunding ICO then after their project campaign, they registered their to our SEC here to be legalize operate in the currency. 
And what else, like XEM/NEM was also registered in SEC too and many more of the altcoins are doing this kind of system.

As long as people keep throwing their money mindlessly at projects that are not worth 2 cents then I think we are going to keep seeing this ico craze, however new regulation in the US and China is going to slow things down a bit but I think we are going to keep seeing a lot of icos on the next year as well.

Maybe we will see some other kind of ICOs that are coming up with some huge investors. Maybe there will be some local points where the people can inform their self about some upcoming. Big investor need something that they can grab and touch

Even the crypto already adopted by less than 10% from the total population of the human. I think the future of ico is there will be the next ico and more and more ico will be generated everytime just like a bubble.

many ico in this year, but few of them maybe use useless whitepaper, i think in 2018 will be much more ico coming since we know that in 2018 the btc price will be higher form this year and many people take advantage moment when they are joining the ICO, but pick wisely wich ico that you want to choose.

In order for us to have an idea of how many ICOs are going to be launched next year we will need to have a regulatory body that oversees the activities of ICOs and that is never going to happen, the only other way could be to calculate at the end of the year how many ICOs were created in this year and then with that information to try to predict how much more ICOs will be created

Althought community is strictly against regulatory institutions,I think that it would be a way to go.

Launch ICO with representatives which are well known in Crypto community thus community would know that this project has the right purpose. The ICo would be for project which evaluates the risk of ICOs. For example if project would like to get evaluated by this body, they would comply with their information requests and if their project is REAL, they would get a evaluations which would help with their find rising.

I have read somewhere that the year 2017 is really the year of ICOs. I can confirm this because ICOs are really sprouting everywhere like mushrooms. Many of them are coming very quick and died very quick also. ICOs are promoted and gained some contributions even if they are only putting forward some hastily made whitepapers and websites. I hope that next year's ICOs are more solid and practical than most of the ICOs this year.

As long as people are still throwing money at them, they'll always be plenty of ICOs for the money to land on.
