You're signing message from your ether wallet, while I think it's the other way round. You need to sign message from ETHD address. And you use your MEW address as a message.

There is a simple methode , just go to myetherwallet.com login with ur UTC file and click on the right side Tokens (Ethplorer.io) and here you can check ur ETHD
