Kyber ICO is over long time ago and it ended successfully with reached hard cap.

The project is fine in my opinion and not a great one though because decentralised exchange isn't a new concept we already have one working exchange plus there are alot of competition in this space. The ICO was but over hyped because of Vitalik buterin which increased the price to 5X but gradually the price started falling and now it looks like a good buy. It's a good hold till February - March.

i hold knc for almost a year and it is never better compare to other coin.. knc/eth stays low.. Very less volume on swap, less coins getting burned

I'm sure Kyber team will think of something even the trading fee burning + reserve manages should bring a lot of buying pressure for KNC token. More energy is always welcomed of course. but the main issue now is volume, if bancor can pull 1000 btc per day why cant kyber can do it

When using kyber there is no trading fee for the user. The fee is paid in KNC by the fund providing liquidity for the exchange. It's in their roadmap to be able to exchange any token for any other token instead of just ETH and that is also part of the advantages of using kyber to launch an ICO as people can contribute with anything. I think we can expect to see it relatively soon.

I think the an interesting idea is to allow DAPPS using Kyber network to stake a certain amount of KNC to be able to receive a share of the profits from the spread based on how much volume their DAPP brings. I think this would be beneficial because it encourages them to use the Kyber in a similar way as a referral bonus. It also benefits the whole system because more DAPPS mean more volume means more profit/tokens burned so while Reserve Managers/Contributors may loss a small % of share of profit pie, the whole pie is larger.

In general, I like the idea of burning tokens per transaction on the platform. However, I'm concerned about the size of the fees and thus the amount of tokens being burned per transaction. While in theory, sure, the token burning has an effect on the supply side of the token economics, it could very well still be a negligible effect.

As for additional token use cases, I honestly think it's better to have one use case that involves as many stakeholders as possible. It seems to me like there will always be just one dominant use case that actually determines the token price, but I could be wrong here. Anyway, I’m a fan of simplicity and having only one use case just seems cleaner to me.

Here's some ideas I'll just throw out;

The ability to use your weight of KNC ('staking') in a smart contract to vote for changes on the project (Kind of like a DAO) or even the exchange with it's pairings

The ability to pay/burn KNC to put up trading pairs on the exchange

I do like the current model of burning KNC but I feel it could be improved with 50% of KNC being redistributed amongst token holders who have their KNC locked in the contract, similar to MKR.

I feel that giving KNC multiple uses would greatly increase it's demand and spike interest in the community.
