Just ordered the ASUS B250 at Newegg for $150(not bad!).. It's gonna take a while to get 19 GPUs to fill it but it will happen. I'm thinking a new rig design. 7 cards on the 1st row, 6 on 2nd & another 6 on top. Or maybe something completely different. 19 GPUs is crazy

Not bad dude! Yeah I considered 2 rows for this too. How much you spend on parts for this though? I've been using estoconnectors.com + T slots from 80/20(to hold the risers/cards) & love the black finish + they're super & cheap easy to build!

This one was ~$90 in 3/4" x 1/8" angled aluminum and wood at Lowe's. Definitely need to go with the thicker aluminum angles because of the weight of all the GPU's. The 1/16" bends pretty easy. Those T-slot builds are cool too and easier to rearrange.

Has anyone gotten a 19 GPU rig up yet? I'm stuck at 13x 1080ti and 6x p106, but was hoping something more powerful would be possible.

You have affirmed that you have 19 cards working on this motherboard and yet you are asking "hoping something more powerful would be possible", What do you mean? 19 x gtx 1080 ti?

Also "Has anyone gotten a 19 GPU rig up yet?" What you wanted to say here is, "hey hase anyone other than me that got 19 cards working on this motherboard"?

I have just made one rig with 19 gpu, p106. The bat point is that I can't run more than 8 gpu. I will try with linux to see if the limitation still exists.

I got this mobo last week all giddy excited to pair with eight of my 580 Gaming X's but came out DOA.

RMA'ed to Newegg and I should be getting my refund today or tomorrow.

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

That is 100% a Windows limit. There is a hard limit of 8 cards from a single manufacturer in Windows.

Also, why would you want to build this kind of rig? This way you lose 19 cards worth of hash power when there is a crash or some other problem. If you can afford that many GPUs you should be putting them in batches of 6 at max or you will suffer stability problems.

My 6x 1070 rig has a personal best MINER uptime of 78 days without a single hiccup.

My 13x 1070 rig has never made it past 10 days without the miner crapping out or the system having problems.

You lose so much money in downtime when you overcomplicate your installs like this. As it is a 6 card rig has 30 failure points.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Is anyone using this board with SimpleMining?  For some reason, my system some times starts up with 15 hash.  I have to shut down and turn on, and it will get 200 hash.

I'm not sure why it sometimes starts at 15 hash.  A little annoying but not a huge issue.

Having the same issue. Can't get past 13 GPUs. ASUS support says that to get more than 13 we need to use mining cards. Can someone confirm this?

Thanks

What i like best about cryptocurrency its making to work harder manufacturers. If not cryptocurrency we never have so much slots for gpus on one motherboard Cheesy
Let me know then ubdate will come and all slots will work. I maby let it a try then 19 cards issue will be solved.
Maby you should use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kylin_(operating_system) Huh
