Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

So .. you sold off GPU's right when GPU mining took off again ...

Yes sold off 4 AMD's 7990, got instead mining contracts in China and have since also purchased some Baikal miners.
Baikal is pretty much plug and play. The GPU's where a real pain, too much heat, enormous power consumption, noisy. It just wasn't worth it.

Selling the GPU's was super easy, I just slapped them on a local second hand app thing in Spain, they got bought up by gamers in less than 2 weeks.

I think it was the best decision back then, plus I'm super happy with the baikals I got, no hassle what so ever with them. Obviously stuck doing x11-x14, Quibit and Quark but that's why I got ETH & ZEC contracts in China.

What I do regret is paying for the mining contracts with BTC..... Grrrrr 6k ATH and looks like we might hit 10k by Xmas.

No word on price?

Didn't see the "cost me about $150 from NewEgg last week" in my post?

i buy it from alza https://www.alza.co.uk/asus-b250-mining-expert-d5102462.htm
they heve more than 5 pcs in stock
Cpu is Intel Celeron G3900.
system is SMOS.
with 13 cards working perfect but with 14 powered mb didnt start....
i will try it with 13 amd and 2 nvidia cards.
rig is ready for 16 cards but 14 and more... is problem to boot.

In SMOS, 15 cards work fine for me. I will purchase 1 more next week to test could it be possible with 16 or not.

Btw, as one of my friend reported, the window 10 newest version 1709 could handle for 16 mining cards P106-100 in MB B250, it's quite interesting.
I will have further test with this next week as well:

Received mine today.  Having problems with slow hash speed on whichever card is connected to the pcie 16x slot.

Running Rx570 and 580, only two cards so far on this rig.  Getting 24Mh/s on the pcie 1x slots, same card same riser plugged into the pcie16x hash rate drops down to below 12Mh/s.  Tried the card in different slots, same results fast in pcie1x, and slow when connected to pcie16x

Tried on both Pimp and ethOS, replaced risers, swapped power cables, same result.

Try plugging the card directly into the 16x without a riser, since you're not using anywhere near all of the slots anyway?

I haven't tried booting the board with no card in the 16x, that might also be an option to just ignore that slot.

I ignored Pcie 16x too, only worked with pcie 1x with 13 cards, and all works perfect.

1 x 1200W Corsair HX1200, easily big enough for 4-5 cards.  Issue occurs even with just 1 card in the PCIe 16x
