oh wait, that was not on the nobullshit terms,  the fictitious delivery date and a machine bought with our btc that willserve this batch purposes for only 10 days, Wonderful. I would have liked very much to say yes to this secretly crowdfunded machine, but im still waiting the confirmation email from them.

Since then......

I can see how Avalon got an avalanche of support emails and tickets that they can't work through anymore... If there are 6 fold duplicates.

Bringing in a dedicated support guy that deals with this should take the burden off Yifu...

Someone, posted early on this forum, that have direct contact with Yifu by phone and skype. Can that person  do a favor and ask, what should do ppl, who ordered as guest and can't see anything at order page and can't change/add phone number, especially if he in first line and received letter "no phone number cannot send".
I'm suppose all Feb.2 orders will be "problematic" and will be served in last queue, after all other units shipped.

If you have you login and its empty you should update the shipping address and phone number to match your order just because it is the only thing you can do.

I had the same problems with walletbit on february 2, opened a ticket the same day with walletbit and support.avalon-asic and a couple of weeks ago they added my order to the store (where you have to register and fill your address and telephone number).

Put address and telephone number on support.avalon-asic as well, the cannot ship if they (Avalon team) don't have a telephone number.

I am thinking through the same choice.  In my case, there is a trusted business close by, and I would have it delivered to them, making the arrangement through DHL and not Avalon.

I would never pre-sign.  bad, very bad.

My parcels reached the same point yesterday afternoon (GMT+1). I also got a text from DHL later on in the evening asking me to pay customs fees of £163 (although presumably this is anticipating the charge once the devices reach the UK).

Originally I was pissed, but now I am calm.  From watching bitcointalk 2013 video it seems Yifu and Nzhang have done quite a bit to help us out.  We just need to have faith in Avalon team delivering.   Another idea is since ASICMINER is doing group shares, etc...So....Avalon should start shares too

Had a guy from work call Mr. Chen on Apr 24th to verify that he got my boards.  Mr. Chen said he got them.  He said he was just collecting them, did not know much else.

This is true, he handles FPGA chips and thats all. Last time I met him and asked about delay he only said: the chips are not assembled yet. Zhang is working on it.

As for trade-ins, they have sold hundreds of Icarus/Lancelot cards, I believe at least 50% of them went for trade-ins.
We only have few people that reported their trade-ins.  This cannot be right, there must be more people who opted for trade-ins.

So they aren't doing trade-ins first...

Have you calculated the loss from turning in your trade in?  Only assuming how many BTC you would have mined between when you sent in your trade in to now.  I'm not recommending that you pick a fight with Avalon support, but considering that they may or may not have been mining before shipping them to customers it wouldn't sound unreasonable to request X BTC to at least cover the loss of not mining with your FGPA.

I think I know how that story will end, but you have clearly been wrongfully neglected.

Same here I got an EMS tracking no for one and a DHL no for the other one.

The EMS tracking number shows up on my account page but the DHL one I only got via email and the order in question still says 'processing'

They were all ordered same time.
1 of the 6 Units were routed to a different customs department for further inspection, but 5 of the 6 units arrived at the same time. I will be receiving my last unit today in a few minutes. I think mine was process earlier cause I put in a troubel ticket regarding my order not showing up on the Avalon Web page.

Asics are up and running with no problems. All performing like champs. Making Money ..... Happiness.
