How much do you think a single Bitcoin will be worth when we celebrate the New Year?
I am estimating that it will be around 8k (no evidence just a gut feeling), i think it will fluctuate and go higher but will stablise at 8.
Okay it is a good expectation but hard to believe. 8k is way far although the holidays in the Ber months might also affect it for many people will have money so they can buy. Christmas could make a difference too. I am guessing above 5k dollars before the year ends. |

I think it'll be around $5000-$7000. Just a speculation though, but we'll never know what will happen after the November event coming. For sure a lot would be expecting bitcoins price to soar up after the segwit happens again.

My prediction for the end of the year for bitcoin price is +5.000$. There is many reason's for that, but most important reasons are in bitcoin adoption in this year. This year will be remembered as year when first countries legalized bitcoin. Fear and panic from segwit is far behind us and bitcoin can just go forward from this point is also one of the reasons why bitcoin price will increase to 5.000$. November event is not 1/August, we will see what will happen about it, on twitter there are some twitts about it and as I understand bitcoin core doesn't support that x2 segwit, and I wouldn't like one more bitcoin hard fork. |

My prediction for the end of the year for bitcoin price is +5.000$. There is many reason's for that, but most important reasons are in bitcoin adoption in this year. Bitcoin adoption by new people will be more than enough reasons to bring $10,000 levels possible within this year. Because new high prices are usually triggering chain reactions and it will never end up as those events are similar to closed-end chain reactions. New high prices will attract new investor and new investors will bring new higher prices and this repeat for ever. I am very much confident that we are going to have bitcoin around $5000 by end of this August and then $10,000 will be an easily possible price by end of 2017. |

Unlike the majority says, i don't think that bitcoin will equal 8 k dollar by the end of 2017.
it will be 7 k dollar at most !

the Bitcoin price movement shows an upward sign all through 2017. I think the same happens beyond 2017 too. Predictions indicate that the price will be around 5k at the end of 2017, also it can be even more.

Hard to say how the hard fork will affect things. But ignoring that for now, it might hit $5000 this week...which means it will have gone from $3k to $5k in one month. I wanna say it'll go to $7000 - $8000 by end of year, but who knows it could be over $10k by then.

Usually, the price goes up during Holiday season. My estimate was between $5k to $6k during that time. I think that's the most realistic price for that and seems so easy to achieved because of price rise. If the price continue to rise every month, there's a possibility that it could be more than that.

Now the price is above 4500$ and 5000$ seems just a step away and then the endless road is open. Still I think that 6000$ is the max price we could reach by the end of the year.
Magic number for me would be 10000$ but this is not going to happen this year, if ever. My friend says that the top price for Bitcoin it could ever achieve is 6000$.

That's a very big wow if your guessing will be a reality and I think the signs showed off by now and for previous spikes of the price was very much challenging and exciting to most investors who seriously monitored the actual scenario of bitcoin price. Sometimes it feared us a lot when price significantly rise and fall of it's value, which you cannot actually determine immediately because it's so volatile as it fluctuates rapidly whether slow or fast changing. |

I think that's difficult to predict because nobody knows future besides bitcoin is getting better and better to provide the needs of everybody. Having said that bitcoin will become more successful this year. This could lead to a more fruitful years to come and who knows one day everyone or all over the world people will be united through this digitized money and more generous to one another. |

I think $7K is possible by November also think that will be the top as predicted by Fibonacci extensions from last ATH. Legacy Bitcoin will then enter a bear market and lose 78.6% of its value dropping to about $1200. |

I would say it will reach $10,000 - $15,000 by the end of the year. Mostly this is gut feel too, but I think it is well possible! Look at how much prices has gone up since the start of the year. It doesn't even look like it is slowing down! I though $2,400 was already great, but look at it now! I never even expect we reach $2,000 this year, but we are well passed that already. |

funnily enough there are a wide range of speculation about the price of bitcoin by the end of this year and most of them are speaking of very huge prices such as $10,000 and above. i personally don't know anymore  before activation of SegWit things were more predictable, with a slow rise over time. but SegWit put an end to the old scaling debate and opened up way for bigger rises. we saw the rise from $2400 to $4000 (mostly) because of it. and we can expect much more at a faster pace. your 8K prediction no longer seems far to me. I think the price of bitcoin will hit $6000 by the end of 2017 and I think it will reault to a high profit. In addition to that, many people believe that the price of bitcoin will increase at the end of this year and I also hope that it would happen. Lastly, I hope the price of bitcoin will hit $6000. |

As of now i dont have any prediction of bitcoin price in the end of this year 2017 .but the others speaking their prediction about bitcoin price will reach 4800$ but Goldman sachs predict that bitcoin will reach 5000$. So there are possibility results that bitcoin will be multiply on this year end . So i hope bitcoin will stay forever .

I am seeing $6000 before the end of this year...today the value of bitcoin reach $4700 and still continue to pump. It's a great opportunity to buy now while the price is continue growing surely many investors have been selling their coins that was bought a year ago...I wish I could invest now and wait for the big pump

8k would definitely be possible, if this craze for bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general continues. However, i do have a feeling that the price may just correct before the new year comes. The current bull wave has continued on for around 10 months consecutively now, and i don't think that it's going to sustain much longer. It could, but it's unlikely imo. Reason why i think this is because of the fact that we are seeing pretty strong resistance at the $5k level. If we don't break that $5k mark soon, we may see growth slow down quite a lot or even go into the negatives. |

I agree with that prediction. It also depends if the usage of the SegWit is increased or not. If not, the price could be lower. |

IMO it is probably going to be around $3k-$4k by the end of 2017. I would expect the hype to slow down a bit before the end of 2017 since the pump has gone on for way too long, longer than even the 2013 pump which is pretty crazy.
I expect a correction here and there in the next 3 months that could most likely drive the price down. But at the same time, i expect the price to rise a bit in this current month, and the two forces will cancel out each other, and therefore $3k-$4k is my prediction.
Still, a lot depends on what happens this month regarding the fork. It could continue rising till the end of the year if the fork goes well.
