I've been mining an average of 20 hours a day at full capacity (220-230 mhash/s) for about 10 days now and I'm only at 0.9 BTC. My average share per unlocked block is ~0.0027, which is around 1/18000 of the reward. My rig has around 1/8500 of the pool's processing power. What's going on here? Something seems to be cutting my rewards in half, this is WAY lower than expected. Is this pool biased towards more powerful miners? I feel like I'm being scammed here. A friend of mine mines at over 800 Mhash/s on BTCguild, a little less than 4x my speed, and he gets around 1-1.2BTC per 24 hours. I'm very lucky if I can get 0.15 BTC in 24 hours, usually closer to 0.1.
I plan on moving to a different pool after I've reached 1BTC, hopefully that will fix the problem, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Im mining with a 6850 (230-240mh/s OCd), i can get 0.30 in 24 hours using deepbit (pay per share). I was on slush pool but the same happened to me so i moved to deepbit.

It's to do with their score based system. Try a proportional pool like https://mineco.in

Hello, i have about 300Mhash and get 0,36 BTC per Day at Slush pool before i was on Bitclockers where i got 0,16BTC per Day. I you have a such low income, switch imiatly and dont wait 10 Days :-) Try out the bigger ones first: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_poolsafter 24H switch so you can compare each pool. tryout 2 or 3 others and them choose the best. (slushs and bitclockers are not good for your hashrate)

Why not try BTCguild for a couple of days? MHash/s for MHash/s you should get approximately the same proportional share as your friend (more or less).

With around 100Mhash/s, I'm getting about .09 BTC/day at BTCmine, so it should be a good option for you as well.

and how much is your Profit if you subract the Energycosts? i get 1 Btc in 3 Days with 300 Mhash, 0,25BTc is for the Energy so in germany 100Mhash is = Energycosts (+ or Minus(!) 0,50eur "Profit")

It's to do with their score based system. Try a proportional pool like https://mineco.inCould you explain? Exactly why is their score based system so unfair? If my results are lower than expected then I'm assuming someone else's results are higher than expected.. how can a biased pool like that exist?

If my results are lower than expected then I'm assuming someone else's results are higher than expected.. how can a biased pool like that exist? It isnt unfair or biased, it mostly depends on your hashrate. So if your hashrate is lower than the Pool average you get IN SOME POOLS less then you expect. So it is usefull to try several pools for the best performance. It is the same taks like you try the best parameters for your miner or the best OC Rate of your GPU, Trial and Error :-) Try each pool for exact 24h and notice your payout (total Bitcoins includet the "unconfirmed") So you will find the best. I do so tomorrow, i will try deepbits it is better for me.

Confirmed Rewards 0.00000000 Unconfirmed Rewards 0.00000000 Estimated Rewards 0.00340574 Estimated reward from current round.
After 6 hours of mining on BTCguild! What is this madness? I've seen the Estimated Rewards reset multiple times and according to my miner I've submitted 450 shares, but it seems like nothing is being permanently registered? The site also reports my hash rate at <100 Mhash/s the entire time even though it's 225. It also rejects an unusually high amount of my blocks, around 7% vs 1% on Slush's pool.

Nice, just switch the Pool! I switched to Deepbit today to see if i get more with my 297Mhash. One positive thing i noticed is that the dropped Shares are now under 1% (0,5% after 2 Hours) and on Slushs i was always on 3%

btc guild is messed up right now you picked a bad time to switch to it. it is my favorite pool but it has its issues from time to time. most likely its stuck in a loop and hopefully we will get rewards still. current round time is 8hrs so something is wrong for sure . good luck with whatever pool you end up in

It's to do with their score based system. Try a proportional pool like https://mineco.inNo, the score-based system has nothing to do with it. Possibly there's a bug with the pool but you'll have to discuss this with slush. Avoid proportional pools like the plague, with the advent of Multipool you will receive much less from them. Try each pool for exact 24h and notice your payout (total Bitcoins includet the "unconfirmed") So you will find the best. I do so tomorrow, i will try deepbits it is better for me.
You can't find out anything in 24h, it's too short and the variance is too high. There are very few fair pools. slush is good enough, but if you want 100% hopping-proof go for Continuum pool.

24h is NOT too short,
because the big Pools(over 1 Terrahash) find in average every 30-40min one Block (1-100min) so 24h is really enough to say if it is good or better then an other. At the Big Pool even 6h are enought to interpolate an Average. (offcourse 24h is better) But the best way is to measure how many hours 1 BC needs. But this takes more Time (by me now ~72h)
And i know you recriut new member for your pool, but dont say things that are untrue only to get new Members, it is not good for your respect
By the way which Payout method do you have, proportional, score, or pay-pers-hare?

If they average 30min per block then they average 48 per day. The standard deviation is 6.9, So taking a 1 sd range, the blocks in 24h can easily be anywhere from 41 to 55. Which is 85% to 115% of the average. Pools differ by a few percentage so this is definitely not enough to make any kind of comparison. And i know you recriut new member for your pool, but dont say things that are untrue only to get new Members, it is not good for your respect
This accusation is outrageous and I resent it. I don't have a pool. I did play a part in the creation of Continuum Pool (devising a scoring method and helping in its implementation) and I currently mine for it, so I'm not completely without bias. But to accuse me of lying is appalling. Everything I say is 100% honest. And I happen to be one of the few people in this community with the skills to analyze such matters, if you choose not to listen to my advice it's your loss.

Ook, SORRY if i was wrong taht is not your pool. I sawed this twice so i was thinking it was yours. i dont knowbut 85% accurac is enough because the difficulty rises, so if you mesure 4 days you could not compare for 100% sure and at the end the accuracy isntbetter than my 24h method. It was a hint for nebies who need orientation, if like one of them did measure 10 Days you lost 30% of the Month to get at the end the opinion, yeah for sure this pool pays real bad :-) In the halfof that time you could test 5 pools greets

I'm trying the Mt Red pool and it seems like every pool reports my Mhash/s to be <100 at all times. I'm thinking something may be wrong with my miner.. or is this normal?
