Is it normal to only have 1 active connection? I have had it on for a few days now, did get a successful stake but just wondering.

Definitely BINANCE or HitBTC would be good exchanges ... the currency still has a very low price ... 50 or 100 Satoshis for a coin with Staking and masternode is a low price. In addition, the transactions are instantaneous and the rewards without having a masternode are very interesting. I have ~ 22Mil of Linda coin 24/7 in staking ... concretely 21864430.88751042 LINDA and I am hold them and I will not sell less than 150 satoshis  - STAKE Linda:

How do u atake lindacoin? Juz put it in the wallet?
It's automatic... you only need maintain online coins in your wallet 24H... more coins more reguards. It's similar to a masternode but you do not need to block your funds ... you just need to be connected 24/7 and get interest. |

The problem is in the IRC module used... it cuases false positive. I use this and other wallets that have this type of false positive problem in some antivirus and I have not had any problems. |

The wallet is using IRC protocol (Internet Relay Chat) but its a wallet not a chat software. The AV heuristic / behavior part will get confused / false positive, check McAfee and Sophos on the link you gave it is detected by heuristic / behavior and not by signature (DAT). |

Again, the solution is not to set up exclusions. That's like asking for only pain medication when you have a broken leg. This needs to be fixed by the dev. So you're asking for the whole MN IRC infrastructure to be rewritten so you can feel safe with your AV? |

in order to stake, I just leave my balance in my linda wallet->unlock wallet with FOR STAKING check box checked then leave it on for 24 hours?
