is anybody staking? how much is your staking reward per day for example in %? Thank you guys
The daily reward varies a lot. For me (I'm staking about 7.5 million), some days it can be as low as a couple of thousand, other days it can be as high as 15,000. I'd estimate I earn something like 100,000 LINDA per month on average. On my wallet it shows my whole balance in the spendable column and nothing in the stake but when I hover the lightning bolt it says: "Staking Your weight is 26184 Network weight is 576360474 Expected time to earn reward is 22 days" Does that mean that within 22 days I should see some sort of transaction for staking? It's normal to see most of your coins in 'spendable' and little or nothing in 'stake'. I'm not really sure what the stake value relates to, or if it even works as it should. You'd expect 'stake' to indicate how many coins you're staking but, if anything, it seems to indicate the opposite (ie it appears to be zero unless you have recently received coins, or have coins that aren't mature enough for staking). I think you need to have the wallet opened and unlocked for staking for a day or two at least before the staking stats relate to anything. And even then I'm not so sure they're all that accurate or meaningful. How long have you had the wallet open and staking? I've had it open and staking some coins for about a week ~5k and 20k around 3 days now. how much do you have at all?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

With the whitepaper and roadmap published today, this coin will moon for sure! Board the train before it's too late. It will go x10 in the next days. Low price, low marketcap and a lot of room to grow. More marketing and more exchanges and I see this one at 0.30 USD easily. Current price is just above 0.01 USD.

How much will cost me to run a LINDA masternode and what is the expected yearly ROI?
yesterday the cost of the node was around 250k USD. was making $750 USD/day Thanks for this info. Unfortunately 250K is way over my roll. Is there a service for co-owning a node or similar? Because LINDA is good and stable coin and the ROI is very reasonable.

If I recall correctly, it's 100,000 for Linda staking.

Whitepaper says 2mil LINDA for Masternode (website says 30mil). At the current price, that is $20k. The steak is way too high for a "new" coin like this. I suspect there won't be enough masternodes in the future for the network to actually be healthy. Also, here's something very funny. The Linda master node has an IRC client (supposedly for Preseeding?), so if you run it, you probably end up being a part of a botnet (tough the server it tries to connect to is dead): Loading addresses from DNS seeds (could take a while) 0 addresses found from DNS seeds dnsseed thread exit irc thread start ThreadIRCSeed2 start Check if not ipv4 Check if connect or nolisten Check if irc enabled ThreadIRCSeed started net thread start addcon thread start msghand thread start opencon thread start dumpaddr thread start init message: Done loading socket recv error 104 connect() to [2001:bc8:315e:303::1]:6667 failed after select(): Connection refused IRC connect failed IRC waiting 71 seconds to reconnect socket recv error 104 Adding fixed seed nodes as DNS doesn't seem to be available. connect() to [2001:bc8:315e:303::1]:6667 failed after select(): Connection refused IRC connect failed IRC waiting 138 seconds to reconnect connect() to [2001:bc8:315e:303::1]:6667 failed after select(): Connection refused IRC connect failed IRC waiting 211 seconds to reconnect socket recv error 104 irc thread interrupted. so i've been trying to stake for the past 4-6 days and i'm not sure if its working. i have the latest version on windows (1.0.1.1-g) and have left my comp on 24/7 and unlocked the wallet. a couple days ago i received a mined transaction but it had a ? mark and said it was conflicted.
since then i haven't received any reward; today i realized i didn't have the latest set of nodes in the conf file so added it. pretty new here but does that only help with syncing of wallet? do i need to delete .exe file and re-download even if its already 1.0.1.1-g (since i just recently updated node list?) thanks

Linda is only a scrypt algo. It really screws us mining it since zpool has 650Gh/s pointed at it. I was going to bring up that it would be awesome if linda could change and become a multi algo coin similar to verge. With the huge amount of coins Linda has the best way to keep the price up and stable would be to create an "official Linda mining pool" where people who were interested in the coin could mine it for themselves. It would keep the pool operators from dumping 14k Linda every block on the exchange and help drive up the price a bit. If they keep it scrypt only we're SOL. The best you could do is mine at a place like zpool and set your payout as Linda, but you lose some in the exchange rate.

Wow, that's amazing! Congrats! Planning on setting up my old machine to contribute to Linda, really loving projects that emphasize security, anonymity aimed at building support and real growth behind the technology. Going to read up more about Linda in the next few days.

I was surprised also to see Linda at $73M market cap. That's tremendous growth. I hope you held some of your coins for long term.
