MASTERNODE TUTORIAL FOR VSX (Windows):

Requirements:
1. VSX Windows wallet
2. 250 000 VSX
3. Good internet connection

Steps:

1. Go to Tools -> Debug console and enter the command "masternode genkey".

2. Get account address from main wallet.
In Debug Console enter the command "getaccountaddress MyMasternode".

3. send exactly 250 000 VSX to the address generated in Step 2.

4. Get the proof of transaction in main wallet.
Enter "masternode outputs" and copy the output to the notepad. This is the proof of the transaction.

5. Update masternode.conf in main computer.
Open masternode.conf in the main computer (should be under AppData/Vsync folder) and update it as below.

It should look something like this
<name of masternode> <IP:65010> <PRIVATEKEY> <Proof of transaction>
MN1 IP:65010 PRIVATEKEY 918e5dfa....118093b 0

6. update vsync.conf file as below.
rpcuser=long random username
rpcpassword=longer random password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=0
server=1
daemon=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=256
masternode=1
externalip=your unique public ip address:65010
bind=your unique public ip address:65010
masternodeaddr=your unique public ip address:65010
masternodeprivkey= Masternode private key output from Step 1

7. Restart wallet

8. In Masternode tab make sure to activate your MN.

9. Wallet must be unlocked for MN to earn rewards.

can you run more than one masternode per IP ? Also what happens to the coins that are leftover in the swap? What is the dev team going to do with them ?

no every MN need its own ip, burnt, burn them.

Ive been messing around in the wallet console just trying to figure out how the commands work and what they do and all that fun stuff. I had a question I was hoping someone could help me with when I get balance i get

 but what i don't understand is why i have a negative balance is that to keep track of all the coins that i have had in my wallet sort of like balance or is that referering to coin i may have obuscated. An assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm mining while the difficulty is low. My hashrate is 6.1 Mh/s. It reminds me of a little PIVX coin. Vsx is xevan and pivx is quark algorythmus but PoW Rewards Breakdown is the same. Also Pow + Pos mixed. I would like to try the masternode but I still have a few coins. It would also be nice to put the coin on Novaexchange. I would vote. I wish many successes and I will support this coin

As I know it's only algorithm for CPU and GPU. ASIC does not support. I have MSI RX 480 8gb. It would be best if you had a GPU from AMD.
