Current: pot, solar, space

Future: human and dog translation

No hot dogs, my favorite food :/

NO, not translation. We will teach humans to talk to dogs, and teach dogs to understand and communicate more difficult ideas, like "now" and "then".

But that comes after we work on breeding dogs, because right now we try to get "pedigrees" by inbreeding dogs, which makes them stupid. There needs to be a breed of dog that is bred purely for its intelligence and willingness to communicate. A "Brilliant Mut" breed, probably with some wolf, since nature breeds for intelligence (and strength, but intelligence is a factor).

And we are working on a strain of marijuana that primarily contains THCv, instead of THC, CBD or CBN.

Which means it will suppress your appetite instead of giving you the munchies, which will save many species (like the hoodia cactus) and help many women.

Who's "we"?

That wouldn't work at night.

If it had a battery it would. And if you want to check it out, go to the solar powered mining thread Smiley

Yes, a battery.

Please post your budget and the KH of your mining rig.

Yes, a battery.

Please post your budget and the KH of your mining rig.

Budget = Infinite
KH = Unknown

There is already a machine built if you go to the thread Smiley
The one we build later could be any size, and any grade of machine.

And this is a research project, we don't care if it takes 50 years Smiley

If you're trying to run three 7950s 24/7 you're going to need about a 5KW solar array, which is about $32,000. If you con the government they'll give you subsidies to bring it down to about $24K. You'll need about $6,000 worth of batteries. Also, that will be inadequate from Sept to April. Your budget and timeline are right on target though.

That's not inadequate, we'll be in Texas. I'm pretty sure you're wrong about more than just that though.
And why don't you go to the solar thread if you want to talk about this, lol.

No not really. You'll need about 25kW/h a day and you're not going to get that in December even in Texas. This guy has some numbers for comparison.

We'll be in Denver also so we can probably find something closer to the sun, and you're wrong about December in Texas, it's cloudy for maybe 2 weeks, but not even the whole time.

And I'm pretty sure you're still wrong about other stuff too.

Here's the solar thread:

That's assuming zero clouds. You'll get about 12kW/h a day in December out of a 5kW array which is about half what you need.

I can run a 2500k and and a 7950 off a Corsair 430W power supply, that would be well served by the solar array, for the low, low cost of about $38,000.

This thread isn't about solar panels.

And I'm pretty sure the solar thread already proves you wrong if you read it.

Nobody can figure out what the hell this thread is about.

Regardless, here's a little array my company did, it'll do what you're looking for.
