I have tried everything with this new board I got.  I have MintCell Version 007 powered risers for my EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 cards and I can run them by themselves on the 16x slot fine without a problem, but when I try to use my MintCell risers (that work in other machines) the power will come on for a second and then shut off.  If I remove the riser/GPU and leave only the other EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 plugged into the 16x slot it will boot again fine.  I have replaced the USB cables with better 3.0 from Amazon, cleared the CMOS after installing the cards, and set the speeds to Gen 1 all to no avail.  This is really frustrating!

I have also tried powering the molex connectors on the board, as well, as the riser cards of course with no results.  I went to call Asrock, but they don't have a phone number.  I submitted their form yesterday for help.

Oh and I have a 1000 watt EVGA gold PSU.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Have you never heard that many risers are junk? I got lucky on the last batch but many people have got more than half bad risers. Switch those out, there's really no chance it's the MB. I have the same one.

Also many people just throw away bad risers.. I have yet to get a bad riser I couldn't just fix the soldering on the bottom myself Tongue It's not hard

Totally agree about the risers.  I have four MintCell and one other one that isn't MintCell.  I also bought the MintCells at different times and two are blue and the other two green.  I suppose all 5 could be bad.  You are sure I am not doing anything wrong?

I just got a response from them.  Isn't very helpful.

1. Please install one VGA card on each PCIe slot to make sure all PCIe slots work.
2. Please install eight VGA cards on one PCIe slot by turns to check all VGA cards work.
3. Please make sure all PCIe x1 slots are connected to power supply by PCIe x1 to x16 riser card.

You can't really expect them to help much. Most likely it's the riser(s). Try every one of the individually. Also look on the bottom of the 1x PCI part that plugs into the MB, are all the pins soldered? It might also help to take a pic of one & post it so we can see.

But like I said, if it works with the GPU plugged directly into the MB than it's most definitely the risers. You wouldn't be the 1st to get all bad risers Tongue I got these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072XCSGZZ/ & every one of them works Smiley
