Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hi kungKarl, all of your setups look good for mining. You didn't list a browser for your second PC, but assuming you use the same as your first PC, you should be fine. The S4 might be a bit slow, but we can just try it and see!

do we have to provide facebook information on the airdrop application? not everybody uses it...

i would like to participate, my mining application:

PCs: Intel Xenon, i5 & i7 (different ones for example i7-6770HQ ), min. 8GB - max. 16gb
OS: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Ubuntu 16.04,
Browser: Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, safari
GPU: 380x, rx580, 1060, 1070, 1080ti

Raspberry Pi 3
Android Phone (Samsung S7)

Hi polylogic. FB info is optional: you are welcome to provide it or not. Besides that, your PC looks good. We'd just recommend either Safari, Chrome, or Firefox for best GPU utilization. Not sure about the Raspberry Pi... we love those little guys but it may not have the power. And your phone is good, but what browser will you be using?

on my samsung i have chrome, chrome beta, firefox and firefox nighly installed.
i will probably test it with the nighly version of firefox or chrome beta.
but i will not keep it running 24/7 on the phone.. ill maybe buy a dedicated phone for this task depensing on the results Cheesy
very exited for this Smiley happy to be on board Smiley

Hi barkbay, your devices will all work for mining. The iPhone might be a bit slow though, so let's try it and monitor the performance. Welcome!

Seems like an interesting project.  Do you need a Dutch translation of anything?  If so I'd like to apply.

Appreciate the offer bandar: we will keep you in mind for Dutch translation!

Perfect those should all work well. Thanks for signing up.

We will select the initial group Jan 15. But we are rolling out in phases. So if you aren't selected immediately, just hang tight: we'll keep adding people!

Interesting idea
However I have my concerns: why do you think people would be so open-minded to browser mining after the issue with coinhive? (very likely that coinhive installed a malware during mining process)
I don´t see explicitly how the supporters/participants are protected from cryptojacking. If you can make this clear, I would like to be part of this project
