Interested to see someone trying something different in this space. I have significant concerns about the suitability of distributed computing for AI calculations, however. The field is dominated by custom hardware; Google uses Tensor Processing Units (TPU's) in their machine learning, while Microsoft has invested significantly in FPGA's. As computing power needs scale up, it is more likely that the needs will be efficiently met by an ASIC, not a cloud resource.

BUT - that's for production. A market definitely exists for resources that can be utilized for development, and I'd love to chip in and help develop our robot overlor...err, assistants.
