Yes you are right. If you want to be successful in life you also need to be smart and strategic person in life. Because if you are just smart or strategic person I think it is not enough to reach your goal. In my own opinion, it is more better if you'll pick both of them because being strategic and smart at the same time you will have a more great income and you know how to handle your money and business. Being strategic and smart you will have a more better plan to make your business more popular and known by many people.

Usually smart guys are strategic, I can't call man a smart who is for example in business and don't has strategy to achieve success, avoid loss, espace company from crisis and etc. It's all needed, both depensa on each other.

Smart people can be very stupid with money. Everyone is different though. If you're good with money it's because you've chosen an appropriate strategy for investing and it's doing well.

If you're smart then you're smart. You can't be smart and stupid at the same time. Smart people are smart with their money or they are stupid, that's all there is to it.

I wonder what is your definition of smart.  Smart people outwit everyone, every circumstances and even good strategy.  So I believe being smart is much better than strategic people because smart people are packaged with knowlege, strategy, perseverance and patience.  We can never call people smart if he did not overcome a difficult situation .

I believe luck is created by a person.  Smart people will overcome whatever hindrances they have.  They have insight of things since they are knowledgeable.  For a regular person it is luck but to those who mold it ,  it is being smart.

Those who lean on and go on with their current life, are not smart, they are called lazy! It doesn't have any relation with Smartness. A smart person will always try for betterment and will try to take their lifestyle to the next level. But only a lazy person, will go with the flow.

Also I believe that a smart person needs to be strategic as well, because planning is a very important thing to live a good life. If you can't plan your actions, you may suffer a heavy loss in any stages of your life. So a smart person needs to be strategic to get the best return from a minimum effort. That's why, in today's modern workplace, hard workers remain as a labour where the smart workers become the Manager.

You're right and that's kind of the thing we all forget.
You can be smart,intelligent,pretty,talented but this all has no value if you're lazy.
I know for myself how precious time is,and how much I've wasted it my self constantly procrastinating.

I knew people who had a lot of money but they did not even know how to treat money or how to take advantage of having money, they just spend every dollar they have and in the end they finished being poor.

In my opinion if you are strategic person you are also smart. Everyone of us has own perspective about being smart. You can be smart on any subjects in school that you are taking up or etc. But when it comes in real life or saving money for me being strategic person is also being smart. This is what smart means in searching google.   I can say I'll go on being smart, being able to do task, successful with it.  It covers being strategic because of being percipient.  I believe being smart is a higher level of being strategic.  So I would rather choose the higher level since being smart as being able means success while being strategic does not guarantee a success.

Why not both? it makes sense right? Being smart will also make you a strategic person. The same with being strategic, you'll be considered as smart because you are able to decide for the better of any situation. Both are important especially when it talks about money. In order to make your money grow and avoid loss of money, you should be strategic and smart at the same time.

Being Smart doesn't necessarily mean that you are strategic, but surely if you are strategic enough are surely smart. Therefore your argument is invalid. If i will choice someone, i will choose the one who is strategic enough who can do something strategically which means that person can do it smartly without a doubt.

Doesn't smart means being good at deciding which things will be best in the current situation? Well I think we all have a different meaning of smart, but for me, If you are smart then you will know what will be the right decision on a situation you are currently facing, you think all the possibilities that could happen if you decide on something and you will have something planned that will make your decision worth it.
