Another thing about Elixir, and this is a potential negative, is because of where the law is today in some countries for crypto-currencies if you need to borrow a money to pay for something in fiat, when you go to change for example Elix into Bitcoin into USD, once you touch that USD you're obligated to pay tax if you're in the US.  You can sell Bitcoin without paying tax, but by the books you're breaking tax law at that point.

It is a coin to buy for short term gains too imo, most of the time the market reacts to news
so it should rise again once something good gets announced by the dev.
And as you said at the same time it's a great opportunity to buy it as a long term hold it's risky but could be really worthwhile
when the product they promised to deliver is as good as it says in the whitepaper!

Maybe high price kicked loose to much batches of Elixir.

Yeah, quite a lot of batches have been mined the last 24 hours, the suplly rose by almost a million of ELIX. It makes the price lower on short-term, but because the total possible supply is decreasing thanks to the lower mined batch value, it will have a nice effect to the price on long-term.

It means long term it is a good thing for the project because most of the future batches are being mined now and will make it deflationary and make the price stronger. This is a good buy now because most of the Altcoins are bleeding now

Glad to see genesis address mining even with the price right now. We should expect to see a lot more mine once the price has another nice increase. Hopefully the max supply will be no more then 60 mil.

You should know that that ability is only afforded to genesis address holders.

But why the price is falling down?

For the same reason virtually all of the other coins/tokens that have been hyped (in Elixir groups) have dipped, BTC. Take EthereumDark for example. A few days ago it reached its ATH of $5.17



Now? It's ~6.38x less in value



About 2x more than Elixir dipped in less time. Nothing rises forever and there will always be dips and it should be obvious that a dip !== "dead/failed project".

20 million is a very low supply.  So the price could rise literally overnight and go over 50 cents.  its been testing the floor for a few days and at some point it will move up and all the people watching this will try to jump on before it takes off again.  it could rise a bit, go down, rise.  i don't know.  but it seems likely that the price will jump back up at some point. 

compare it to bitcoin. a supply of 16mil right now with many coins lost forever is enough too. its very volatile right now but thats normal in an bitcoin bullrun

I doubt it's true. There has been no official word from the devs about any tokens being burned.

yes if you're a genesis pair address holder
you only have to add the custom token for exor and elix in MEW
and the mining works the same way as it did before with timereum but with sending exor.
But if you for example already depleted your 10 batches and have timereum left then the answer is no.
Apparently the Lottereum Dev is still trading Timereum for Lottereum though at a very small exchange price.
