As others have said do your research but the most important thing is to decide whether it is a short or long term investment as this will narrow down your options somewhat.
Eg. No point investing in an ICO if you will need your money back quickly.

bitcoin is always safe investment form any place. So you buy bitcoin and hold for long time. if you interested altcoin then you can buy some good coin like Waves, NXT, MobileGO, DECENT, Stratis. You buy Waves, DECNT and Stratis and hold for long time. Its also safe investment for any time.

Really? You can do hold altcoins while waiting for bitcoin to rise it's value so you will get a high profit not like on just holding bitcoin and you need alot of money to get a good profit if you do only hold bitcoin not altcoin. Altcoin is the alternative of bitcoins so you can convert it easily on exchange sites so better to hold altcoins while waiting for bitcoin to pump to get a double profit but if you have many bitcoins like 10 - 20btc better to trade USD/BTC. |

Yes. I think 3 months will be needed if you want to buy the pre sale ICO token too. A month for the pre sale and another month for the ICO plus the counting time. For me, that is still a short term investment. Others takes years before you could see the profit unlike the ICO where they grew so much just after the presale and the another after the ICO they are almost doubling their value. |

I think it's Zcoin. The masternodes will be announced very soon. Their technology is crazy.
Zencash can be a good bet too.
DeepOnion has also dropped significantly since 1 week, I think this is a very good entry point. The project is brand new .. with lots of potential and an incredible community (and marketing)

But aside from that you can choose among this.
Minerium-i believe the price will increase soon sonce the announcement of artemine the price of this coin already moved from 1usd to 4usd in just few days.
It will further increase if artemine will be launched.

You could also buy deeponion.
It is still cheap right now but if the deepsend feature will be released this 4th quarter i believe it will drastically increase..

True. If you want to make a safe and smart investment, then focus on Bitcoin. It won't let you down  Of course, if you are looking for an exciting project, then make a research of ICO, but as it was said, that's going to be a long term investment. Don't expect for quick profit. |
