Hi - Newbie here..I would like to put down 1000 USD next week.. What would your advice be to me?

Bitcoin will be my choice and advise for you. People continue to ask what they should buy , they should buy Bitcoin it has a track record and obviously it's going to go up the future. If you want to know what crypto to buy it's going to be Bitcoin it's not going to be something else because nothing else is shown that sort of power,  nothing else that sort of value increase.

Bitcoin is always an best choice to make an investment as it has proved its potential over a period of time and same we can expect from it in future too but if I have to invest in any altcoin then my choice would be to go with ETH and Waves.

I think it would be better to invest in coins where short term profits can be earned in short quantities as a starting point for investment

I will go with bitcoin for a long term and in altcoins I will choose ETH, ETC, LTC, DGB, WAVES as I don't see any negative news coming on their way and this coins will surely survive in long term.

You can buy litecoin or even dogecoin. Dogecoin is now low so i would advise to buy litecoin. Litcoin will not drop hard. It has the potential to grow more.

I have already buyed and earned some litecoin to sell in the near future the coins.

Personally i would divide it into 5 main $200 capitals
Investing in new promising $1.00 or less released tokens, with such strategy, some coins can get you 500%+ in couple of  months.

The worst thing you can do when it come to investment is to put all your eggs in one basket & waiting for the price to get higher than the entry point you start with.

Someone here in BCT investing his whole 5 BTC in one Crypto & bought it while it's $0.9, now ity's $0.28 !!!

That's some scary scenario to thing about.

Golden rule in investment, never gamble, use part of your capital to invest in one coin, the other in your pocket to get another good coin & so on.

I think ethereum, because ethereum besides a long time and widely used for transaction activity. Although there are now many ethereum-based trading markets such as etherdelta, and many potential coins, such as: Patientory, AdEx, decent. I think this is a coin which is an option other than a coin that is now on the rise.

Buy Bitcoin. But since it is always better to invest in diverse list of coins, I would say aside from Bitcoin, you should also buy Etheriums as well as waves. Choosing these three is a very safe option so there is very high risks involved. But never be carried away by events such as FUDs spreading and dips. Just hold tight.

I don’t why people keep investing into coins that are just new in the market and even whose white papers are not attractive either. No need to waste money on these shitty coins when you can have bitcoins at cheap rates. Bitcoins are the father of crypto currencies.
