It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Oh joy another 0 difficulty coin with massive initial reward that will be premined by the developer and friends for millions of coins ... will be some huge "bounties" LOL

At least start the difficulty higher or do what DGC did with small initial rewards

Is it Friday already???

Edit1:  http://github.com/luckycoin/luckycoin
It's common courtesy to show the source code before launching the coin.

Edit2: "3 confirms per transaction"   Ugh.  scary, unsafe.

But then we could steal all the lucky coins for ourselves! Or even worse, detect the virus before running it!

Nothing about non-zero diff, so I think:

Premine or not?

At zero diff, and with crazy block sizes, does it matter? Big hashers, with low latency, will rape the shit out of this coin. Like, you'd think, with all the failed coins, the only good thing to come, would be the lessons, but nope, people just keep creating the same, shitty coins, over and over again.
I can't code, nor do I have any original ideas, for a new coin. I can't swim either. So you know what I do? I keep my ass out of deep water.

Coin is too slow, not competive with current coins. Pass. Also, these random prize blocks, are just plain retarded. 5000K coins in one block? Are you on Glue? Or are you intentionally making your coin worthless, from the get go? Roll Eyes

"Are you on glue"

Smokey, this is not 'nam, this is bowling. There are rules. Do as the dude would wish, and mine some Lebowskis! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260311.0

If you all dont like it dont mine it. In fact, dont, that way my little 120khash card might be able to get a fucken block or 2 for once.

People who can't read need not mine anything. The OP clearly states the difficulty will adjust extremely fast in the beginning to stop high hashers.

Why is everyone being so negative about this coin? Fair enough if there was something stupid about it or if it was just another clonecoin, but i saw a decent amount of innovation in the quick difficulty adjustments based on network hash rates - am i the only one that read that in the OP? Depending on more information and how exactly it works - the good thing about it is that it would stop certain people with massive hash rates from dominating the early few hours of the coin. Meaning there would be much less of a pre-mine effect - am i wrong here?

Copying idea's from other coins, like DGC and WDC, hardly counts as inovation. Yay, he carbon copied LTC, made the block rewards higher, and the diff adjusts.
To answer you question, who do you think feels a higher diff first? The 200 KH/sec miner, or the 3500 KH/sec miner?

I love this coin.  It has great possibilities.  Great possibilities for mischief.   Wink
