I originally was an early adopter and bought 2000 bitcoins at $2 a piece and I sold it at $12 as I didnt see it as a viable payment option as nowhere it could be used. I thought it was a good profit.  Afterwards I also shortly owned 2k bitcoins at 4 and sold it at 8. Again a lofty profit as I thought.

But on the other hand many of my bitcoin owning friends have lost all their coins with the downfall of mtgox where i was also trading on.... if you look with this in perspective I feel okay.

recently i bought 20k for bitcoins at 3k and sold them at 6k. if i would have kept them only longer again..........

Wow you got in even earlier than me, I got it when you sold at $12, and lost all 4 through a chargeback scam on Ebay.
I also didn't see it going anywhere. All these other people saying they wish they knew about it back then are doing it with hindsight.

I guarantee most of them wouldn't have bought many back then. The rumour Bitcoin MIGHT hit $100 one day was seen as a pipe dream.

And yes that's before we even get to the MTGOX crash, whereby most of them would have lost their coins anyway, and EVEN if they survived that most would have sold for $1000 way before it got to $15000.

Now I tend to think that even if I had mined a few (hundred? thousand?) bitcoins back then when it was so easy (because I am not so sure that there was a way to actually buy bitcoins back then, there were no exchanges in those days, but I may be wrong here...)  probably without the investment of money I would have forgotten all about them and would have dumped them all together with old disks and forgotten passwords and never be able to retrieve them again. So many people did that!

Looking from that perspective, maybe it is better I never had bitcoins in those very early days. Knowing, that there are millions of dollars not accessible to me would be sooooo painfull!

Exactly. I know for a fact if I had 10,000 I would have sold them off when it reached say $100 or $300, as would 99% of people.
Also we could have lost them on MTGOX or had our wallets hacked or just lost the passwords.

And that pain would kill me more now than not having them in the first place!!! There was a guy who threw away a hard drive with 1,500 BTC on it into a landfil! They didn't mean anything much back then and we ALL would have sold them cheap.

The only people who have a lot today had hundreds of thousands and probably only kept back 1000 today.

My biggest regret in bitcoin is when i sell my one btc in $5k
Lesson learned dont sell your btc in cheap price just HODLL IT.
Lol, Everyone is having the same regret almost that they should have believed into bitcoin earlier, invested little earlier into bitcoin or should have held it tight for long time.

Anyways, there is nothing good in regretting over what happened in past because we cannot undo it, so the best thing you can do now is to work hard enough to earn a lot of bitcoin before it goes further higher in prices to make your future and present secure.

The most greatest lament isn't being "overcome" enough to jump into the innovative change the digital money and blockchain could do. I ought to have endeavor to purchase those mineworker at that point, or even branch even .001 bitcoin those occasions when the cost is generally high and lower than today. In any case, one that my soul didn't chase me is on account of I have endeavored to mine bitcoin on those years yet my intense PC didn't yield enough coins that could even equivalent to the power charge it devour.

I know the bitcoin early in 2016 when the price is around $ 210, when I buy $ 1000 or get more than 4 btc, but not how long I sell for $ 220 or get the $ 48 profit I spend on vacation, that's my biggest regret.

Same here, i didn't believe or even pay attention enough to look into it when i first heard of it but got on board only some time late last year and even a the time i was skeptical and didn't try to save enough until now. It's regrettable but there's still more in it for us and so i keep pressing for more.

No regret at all. I am determined and optimistic that I can earn in the future. As I have read in the news sites, the bitcoin market is soaring sky high.

There is no such thing that I become regretful about bitcoin. In fact I am so happy and thankful that God give me a opportunity to involve in this kind of business.
At my young age I can become independent with my parents through the help of bitcoin.

I don't know if it counts as a regret but not having heard about Bitcoin is my biggest regret. Another, but smalller regret is that I have joined it after two weeks that I heard about it.

Know bitcoin more than 3 years ago but not doing anything is my biggest regret, if i buy 10 btc time 3 years ago with price around $ 200 then i will get rich. but we still have a chance because the price will continue to rise, buy now is better than regretting the time.

I had an unpleasant incident in my Bitcoin adventure which resulted from poor security of my portfolio. This is the most common problem for new users. Keep in mind that proper protection is the key to success.

I think this is the same for most of us. We all complain about not buying enough number of bitcoins in the past, but we won't have that chance once again. It passed already.

Not making an investment before is the only thing that I regret, I bet that everyone else in the world regret for the same, the fact that I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea
to invest my saving in bitcoins ... with this outcome I really regret that. Now the hope is on the litecoin market, bought at 100$usd and is aorund 130-140 now.

What should I invest in? PM me with your thoughts! Thanks
