I never admit even such an option. Why play, until such a moment to lose your job? Here the answer is one: a person depends on gambling.

I mean why do we need to waste our time gambling if we can earn a lot of money without betting our money into something we don't know if we will be winning or not. Why not invest or trade that money into something that we know we have a higher chance of having a good profit than gambling, yes we are still risking our money and time still we know that we have a chance of getting a profit right?

If you really believe gambling is for profit that is the time that we are wasting our time and money into gambling. But if you believe that gambling is something to release your stress and a form of entertainment then that is when you are not wasting your time. Yeah we can profit big time from our work or businesses or investments, but those are not really fun.

I don't think the problem with addiction is the amount of time spent in gambling. It is more of the amount of money spent in it. If you gamble the whole day, there is no problem if you are not sacrificing anything else for that time. But if you are gambling and you are gambling away all of your money, then that is where there is something wrong.

But if you are gambling and you are gambling away all of your money, then that is where there is something wrong.

Correct. If too much money was spent and it cannot be stopped without getting back what the person lost then that is addiction.
If you are just having fun with just small bets on the table then that is just a game. In small countries this happens. They just want to use up the time when every house work is done. They want to relax. But with the OP's question it can happen too but that is just too irresponsible to happen. You should have limits or set an alarm.

Nope. I have never lose time any of my time because of gambling. In fact, I do not spend a lot of time in playing gambling because I know that if it became my habit, it may lead to addiction and that is what I am avoiding. I do not want to be addicted in gambling because I know how dangerous it is. It's good you analyze that way, prevention is always better than cure, the moment you are addicted it's hard to get out because you are still looking for a chance to win back your loses. When you are addicted you might spend what you cannot afford anymore so it's better to prevent it, when you are losing focus on your job or in school because of gambling, you better stop gambling because it's a sign that you are addicted, it will just ruined your life if you will continue.

So far I never lose time for work because of gambling but I had to admit way back in school days, college days specifically I'm losing a lot of time with my subjects. And the bad thing is that I repeated 2 of my subjects because I would stay in a gambling place playing with those professional gamblers (who lives by gambling) that makes me feel challenged all the time.

Atleast you already learned your lesson, there's nothing wrong in playing gambling as long as it doesn't affect our priorities in life. If it affects our scheduled maybe qeee developing a bad habit in gambling that we need to resolve.

Yes I did learned from it before and I don't want to make a bad decision that will affect my career. I've got sometime to gamble but when my job is at risk I'm trying to settle it and gives the best decision for it. I did used to give more time to gamble at the beginning, to experiment and learn new form of gambling, but now I had to schedule and separate my gambling and work.

I have friend honestly was addicted in gambling and there is  a big impact in his job because he was addicted until he fired from the his job..
Not a good prioritized gambling because it can be bad habit and you are just wasting your time and money..
And also your job will be gone because you are always late..
And i have also a friend in school when i was in college he is addicted in gambling until he is not attending in school days..
Gambling will bad for students and for people who ha a job.. If you go in gambling you should have a strong mind that gambling is made for entertainment purposes and they should limit the time for gambling..

Gambling is not a bad thing, but the thing here is how you're treating this relying-on-the-luck game. As I've said, this game mostly rely on your luck and less on the skills that you've got. But yes, I think this is  the reason why most of the gamblers are wasting their time in gambling, lack of goals and priority establishment.

Gambling is not a bad thing, but the thing here is how you're treating this relying-on-the-luck game. As I've said, this game mostly rely on your luck and less on the skills that you've got. But yes, I think this is  the reason why most of the gamblers are wasting their time in gambling, lack of goals and priority establishment.

If we already lose te for work,fily or friends because we focus too much in gambleing ,then thats bad. Having anything in too much may not resort good outcome so plan and learn to manage.

Nope because i live a life of moderation which i avoid gluttony and other vices that you may forget you family, friends and work. In work place, opening gambling website is also offence if any of your senior employees see and complaint to your manager it will be a problem for you. And one more thing doesn't use your company internet to open gambling website everything will be stored in your database. Some admin team can monitor every person browsing history. I will also play, but I will play on my mobile with using my mobile network. Not play in work place I just come out and play.
