I am often late from work due to gambling. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?
I haven't been as bad as you. Can still do the job even though once, gambling poker from early afternoon until early morning. However, I still leave for work at 7 am. Damn you sound at least as bad. Are you really playing cards whole evening and night after coming from work? How are you even awake in there? It's not only bad for your health but it's also going to slowly destroy you mentally. I hope you can wake up and get over it. Lol. Yeah it may even be worse for you than coming in late. At least the other person's getting some sleep. Rethink about what you're doing to yourself dude. You're not just going to risk money but your health as well and believe me, gambling isn't worth it. |

I agree with this, even I'm not doing gambling but I relate about this topic because I can view my image of my elder brother while I read of this post, he really drawn in gambling he don't mind how many money did it lost in gambling and I feel sorry of my brother but thanks to the a people that help him to realized that gambling is make him crazy. And now he change instead of gambling he played basketball with me to my friends. |

I have never lost time involving into gambling, but lost good sum of money in gambling. People have difference in opinion, because some losing in gambling consider it to be an wasting of their time. I never consider it in similar manner, just spend on gambling and expect the outcome. The winning and losing doesn't have any correlation with time.
Very wise my friend! Gambling is a useless act. It does not really return anything beneficial. Above that, it wastes our precious time also. Time is money and we must spend that time in some more useful and productive task. I don't condemn gamblers but they must have limits for their own safety. I think there are no limits for gamblers. These are just story words. Actually every human is greedy, for money and for many other things. Particularly if money is concerned, then you can go to any level of rise and fall to get money. So is the case with gambling, you are so true, that gambling is just a useless act and it is all about wasting your energy and money. Maybe it is not right to say that every human is greedy for all individuals are created in such different way by attitude,characters and its view and vision towards life, like gamblers they all have different reason some take it for fun and pleasure and some are looking towards the profit of winning. I will support your stance because every human being is a masterpiece of God and we all are different for each other. Yeah but what you can say is that majority of the gamblers is greedy and they gamble just for money. They are not concerned about fun, they are main aim is to make maximum money in short time. Gambling is going to be fun for those who have more than enough money and want to spend it. That is their mistake. Gambling isn't a game to make profit, otherwise it would be a job, especially casino games. People see this like an opportunity to double, triple their money without effort and to continue doing it on a daily basis until they become rich. Gambling isn't a game to become rich, it's a game for rich people have fun... And it becomes worse when people are losing their work/school time to gamble, it can generate nasty consequences in real life. Very precisely. Indeed the main thing there is in gambling is for fun, because it profits in gambling is not the main thing desirable by gamblers (specially those who know and understand gambling). Advantage indeed can be obtained, but it will not continue to be obtained because gambling has a game. Where we can get a victory and a loss depending on how to do a game. Better to focus on work that clearly generates compared do not necessarily give the gambling profits. |

Yeah I did experience to late from schoo due to gambling especially on my newbie days. I used to gamble to earn profit however, instead of winning I always lose yet late from my school. Hence, decided to stay away from it and find another way to earn income and then I found out this forum. And so far my current life is much better compared before. |

Yes i do, sometimes i'm late and even missed my class when i do gambling because when i do gambling it always fun and makes me forget about the time and when i check the time suddenly the time is feels so fast. Btw you should stop it OP, if you keep late on your work, your company will fired you someday. |

Right, this is a big no. A very huge No for gambling over work or school. Even if I like playing gambling that much I will never prioritize gambling over my responsibilities and that is what we all should do. Only those addicted gamblers can ever do such a thing of exchanging important things just to play gambling. I was thought to prioritize doing and finishing the most important tasks because this is what successful people do. |

Hence, decided to stay away from it and find another way to earn income and then I found out this forum. And so far my current life is much better compared before. I do not think that there will be a single person who play gambling regularly and still he can claim that he never lost time from work or school due to gambling, for me in very early days it was a routine but latger one when become mature then i understand the situation and start gambling in a limit, which in fact prevent me from losing more money and also time. |

Best decision you have taken. It will surely help you to make some better living than those who are indulged in this gambling. We all here to earn money and earning it in a better respectable manner. Then I don’t understand why people don’t get into such proper work for earning? Why they take support of gambling and once they got into it, they become addict and ruin their life. |

Hahaha this just set the time bandwagon, I remember this, when I was in college, I was introduced to gambling, and when college used to end, we used to hit the alleys and we all used to loose track of time and money, it's happened with me on so many occasions, that I have forgotten to do assignments, and yes I recieved lot of scolding from parents, as I never could explain why I got late, those were the days, those memories. |

This happens because they are now addicted with gambling. Once youve become addicted to gambling everything will be affected even your work or studies. So i think it is better for you to focus yourself in your work or studies rather than gambling. I never experience lose time from work or school due to gambling. |

I gamble only during weekends, because i want to relax. I know to control myself and its just for fun only. I've never experience that when i gamble its affect my work. Because gambling for me is an inspiration especially if i won.

What is even more pathetic that the rich gamblers are also not praised by anyone? This is one of the biggest disadvantage and it is better to live a life of dignity as a poor than being disrespected by every individual of the society. |

No. Never. I'm not a rich man so I never gamble. I always think logically and never rely on luck in my life. For me all the struggle is needed to gain success in life. And I guess getting rich because gambling is not fair, so I assume that gambling is the wrong thing. But do not get me wrong first, if I win gambling and get a lot of money .. surely I will be very happy. If you ask like that, is it possible that you are addicted to gambling to skip school and work for the sake of gambling? |

no cause i dont gamble.  just a piece of advice mate, it is ok to gamble but just make sure that you have self control and time management so that what you do in gambling will not interfere in your work. really good thing you should never gamble if you don't have self control it not only makes you lose your money but leaves you with a lifetime regret of gambling if you have a plan and a goal of profit gamble simply gambling won't gain you anything I think if you do sports betting with calculation and analysis , then you can sure earn in long term. Only play those games which you feel of winning and dont try to play daily as it will lead you to addiction. Yes in sports betting all these calculations will always work because it's based on the way a team will play and sometimes it is easier to predict with the performance of the past matches of the team. For example the upcomming match of Barcelona they haven't lost a single match in last 10 matches so we can determine the winner on this basis |
