Eh people if have another new local inter crypto & fiat exchange will you all be interested? And what is the main features or functions you would like to have or better one? Gauging interests here and if time permits I will get my team to work on a new one  |

You can add me to the list of bitcoin users in singapore. Theres also a meetup group- next meeting is aug 1, at a bar that accepts bitcoins.

Volume is low so it depends on your ask and what is the current bid and the rest is your luck. Trade times depends on users...

Should fill it immediately if your ask is the same as a current bid.
In other words someone is selling a bc at 117, and you put in an order at 117 (same amount of bc) it will get filled.
If you place an order at 116 though- the order will be pending until someone wants to sell at 116.
Currently, you can buy 1 bc at S$117.95 which is about USD$93.77 or a 1.59% premium over the mt.gox USD rate, but still below the S$119 mt gox rate.

Hi. Another new miner. Also in SG (obviously). Just wondering, does anyone know where I can get ASICs or FPGAs locally?
PayPal is being a dick and isn't allowing me to transfer funds from my UOB account, and I don't have a credit card, so I am stuck on local stuff unless someone allows bank transfers, which I have rarely seen.
I am looking for the ASICMiner Block Erupter or something similar (portable). Don't need much hashing power, since I am not entirely hardcore on this.
IDC about power usage or ROI, since most of the time, I'd be using school's free WiFi and power to do this.
P.S. It would be great if the ASIC/FPGA supports both Windows and Mac.
You will still need to care about ROI even if power is free for you. If you are going to buy a mining gear that can't recover the cost in its life time, you will be better off just buying the equivalent in bitcoin now and hope for it to appreciate in value in the future. I suggest you do more research, particularly from the Mining Speculation Forum here and learn how to create or adopt a ROI model before you invest in any mining gear. |

Hey guys, I'm looking to sell my HD6970 PCS+ since I've given up mining. Looking to let go at $200, or 1.5 BTC, or 58 LTC, whichever you prefer. It's been used to mine primarily LTC, can get about 500Kh/s at stock clocks and voltage (1.175V), or if you wanna undervolt you can hit about 430Kh/s stable at 1.1V. Now that's expensive, much more than the US. Singapore is not a good location for enterprise scale miners.
