Now that's expensive, much more than the US. Singapore is not a good location for enterprise scale miners.
Yeap that's why unless you have free electricity in Singapore, mining is not worth, or try to colocate in the USA.

I also have 2x Sapphire OC 7970 edition.
$520 each or $1000 for both.
Also can take BTC equivalent at BTCE spot.
Actually I think this price is too high. I should be selling for SGD$450 each. LOL!

Just asking: Anyone bought ASICMiner Block Erupters from @CanaryInTheMine?
If you did: How long did it take for you to receive the Block Erupters after you confirmed your order with him (sent money, he confirmed it etc.)?
I ordered from him, but I am not sure when it will arrive. I may not be home to receive it in time, since after this long weekend, I still have to get back to school... Also, I don't like to take a trip to the post office just to get that.

You didn't get a tracking number? Also, if you don't mind sharing your experience with customs etc.? @All: Hi! Never realised we had a thread for SG. Nice!

I was there at the meetup event. Transaction was fine. Told them I was using bitcoin, he swung around a laptop with a qr code, I paid with my android bitcoin wallet the equivalent for S$ drink.
The wallet he was using on the laptop wasn't so fast though- so it took a minute for the transaction to register. Then of course several more for verification. But he was ok with giving the drink with the transaction registered. I think coinbase may be a better solution.
For the night, I think he did more $ in bitcoin than fiat.
Cool that its on Coinmap!

Not sure if you guys heard of the First Automated Bitcoin Trading Robot?
I did a review of it here - http://*.com
So far the results are pretty solid!
Haven't looked at your link. There are others been around for a while like bots of bitcoin too. The thing with bots... Yes, there are profitable ones (after all they say 80% of wall street is bot trading), but then if you put the time in to design a profitable bot why would you share it, if you could just rake in all the money from your bot? Just look at all this shitty, crappy forex bots. All they want is your money. Past results are no indicator for future results.

Heya all. New to the forum and BTC. Happy to learn that there is a community of like-minded people in Singapore. Picked up mining as a hobby and also to learn more about cryptocurrency in general. Took me a while to gather all the different parts and to assemble them but here are some rigs that I built. The Raspberry Pis are standalone mining units with their LCD displays showing the mining details. Read somewhere that you guys are trying to organise a group buy for block erupters. I can spare some if still interested. Probably at 0.65 BTC each. Miners are for sale too at 2.5 BTC. http://i39.tinypic.com/21noe49.jpghttp://i41.tinypic.com/21nmrs3.jpg

That is one of the cooler things I've seen lately! Got a link handy to a how-to?
