India haven't got the legalization from the government, which has resulted in the increased user base with less number of merchants on several business accepting bitcoin. This will increase abruptly, if the government legalize bitcoin similar to that happened in Japan. More countries legalizing bitcoin will cause a growth to the next level.
Yes, it is not legalised yet but I am optimistic about the future and scope of Bitcoin in India. A developing country having the population of more than 1.32 billion with an average age of less than 35 years is really promising.
Even though the number of Bitcoin users is less than 1% of total population as of now, I believe that India will be in a position of top 3 countries with most number of Bitcoin users within next 10 to 15 years if there is no intervention from the legal point of view. At this stage, I see a clear and optimistic picture of next 10 years.
