I am afraid that you will never see the IRD listed on the exchange

I'm sure we will see IRIDIUM on exchange 1Q of 2018. Maybe not 1 exchange.
This coin has a future. So just hold it for a while. Not pump it when it hit exchange.

We all hope...strange to see a coin with a so active community with no exchange!

Two things I noticed today.

For those mining on uvac.fr, if you are wondering why you received no payments for something like three hours, it seems that the pool had a problem. Not with sending payments but with finding blocks. Despite having the majority of the hashrate on the network, it found no block for roughly three hours. Block 54186 has a timestamp of 19:11:06 GMT and block 54211 has 21:51:04 GMT. All blocks between those were found by irdpool.tk.

Then I noticed that irdpool.de had all its blocks it found within a 15 hours period from 24th to 25th December orphaned. Since the blocks have consecutive numbers and the pool certainly did not have a lot of hashrate, it looks like the pool actually forked and mined an invalid chain for the entire time.

Everything is in order now. I restarted the pool and irdpool.de seems to have restarted the core.
I fixed the max payment amount at 90 IRD, so if your balance exceed 90IRD, it can happens with a big hashrate and 2 or 3 blocks fast unlocked, payment will be splited by 90 IRD parts until balance reach the minimum. So no more big balance stucked in the pool

What is going on with blockchain?
I did my wallet backup. Next I have installed new wallet client 2.1.2. When I try to open my old wallet, application always load again the new wallet, that have been created on first start.
How can I restore my old wallet?

Edit:
Something was wrong with the blockchain. Apllication is idling long on last block, and doesn't seems to be ready for work. I don't know why, but at last my old wallet have been loaded correctly.

Yes and without the original dev, we basically need to hope the community can raise enough money for stocks.exchange or southxchange or something.  Will be very difficult.  Not impossible, but difficult.

the community already raised enough money to the original dev for listing once, but he disappeared after that...
do You believe that it can be repeated?

Any news on new hardfork?
Yes :

- The faulty pool code that hang during the last HF attempt is fixed, tested, re-tested, optimized and ready for a new HF.
- I have to implement another version of the difficulty adjustment algorithm to the latest zawy's weighted harmonic mean, test it then schedule a hard fork. But it's christmas holidays here and I have my 3 kids at home, so it's not so easy to be in calm to work and reflect...

meanwhile, I will release a pool fork version and a tutorial for everyone who wants to build one...

I have no access to the wallets on the first post, I even don't know how much money is collected now : Windowsxpert is in charge for this for going on exchange.
But I can tell you I won't leave/run : I like this project and I will complete it.
