1k bucks is it a big price to put a coin on a stocks.exchange?

The developer must be the leader, and not constantly throw on others all.
Organizing a fee to add to the stock exchange. Ask all the exchanges what new coins are added. The stock exchange is a lot.

Even on the coinsmarket you can add: https://coinsmarkets.com/support.php

These things the developer must deal with.
And the feeling is like a school coin, what further topics on the forum will not work.

In the crypt, billions of dollars are spinning, what is it difficult to bring to the exchange so? Why are coins with practically 0 potential quietly traded on the stock exchange, and here for so long they have been rejecting the exchange all the time.

Instead of this coin, it was necessary to mine ETN and other cryptonight coin. All November is just a waste of time.

This coin is a community coin. It does not belong to the Dev. He has no premine at all and it was no ICO.
If you think he hasnt done enough then i think you are wrong.
If you think he can do more then you are right.

the solution is not to critisize the Dev.
Giving his time, knowledge, and expertise alone is sufficient donation to the community and to the project.

If you think getting on an exchange is so easy, then I suggest you write a simple message to an exchange to request for listing of IRD?

Nevertheless, i think the Dev must do more.
He has done a lot. but if it must be done it must be done well

Tests are over now. I will try to schedule the hard fork before the end of January.

For dealing on exchanges, I do not have the knowledge and the envy : I do not like haggling. I can code all the api if needed, make tests, everything do make ut work but not dealing.

That's why I'm not alone on this project. Furthermore I can't handle everything ! I have a real life too Smiley

Maybe not everybody has a real life .. lol .. for the new hard fork do we need to update once again our wallets, or the 2.1.2 is just ready to fork?
An update will be required.

But one thing i would definitely like to see added, is the possibility to decide where to save the blockchain file. If you are not offering command line wallet. Its the one reason i usually skip GUI wallets, as i have not seen any that would let me store the possibly huge blockchain where i want it.
Try this:
Iridium_Wallet.exe --data-dir your_dest_dir
Its a gui wallet, not forknote or simplewallet.

command line options are ok on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows : All command line options can be seen by calling the app with --help :

MacOs, Linux : ./Iridium_Wallet.app/Contents/MacOS/Iridium_Wallet --help
Windows : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Iridium Wallet\Iridium_Wallet.exe" --help

On Windows, you can make a shortcut and add --data-dir  you_folder option so for storing the blockchain in the directory "iriumFolder" on a D drive, the entire line is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Iridium Wallet\Iridium_Wallet.exe" --data-dir  D:\iridiumFolder

And a last thing : people with a new fresh windows install with MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll missing error, the vcredist_x86.exe (the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable libraries) installer is in the folder where you installed the Iridium_Wallet, so for a common installation, you will find it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Iridium Wallet

Ok, it worked. I don't know what i did the first time when i tried using the command line option. Now i got it syncked neatly in one folder. I want all these wallets so that i can transfer them on a external HD.

Thanks!

Let first the coin do the HF and go into some market, then speak about raising fees imho.

There is another coin with the same name https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2152401.0

Interestingly that coin was launched a few hours after on Sept 5th . PoW was probably cryptonight and then changed to x11.

Sorry if the above link was discussed before, but i see this as a problem at some point. I do not bookmark links and i ended up on that link from google and was confused for a while with a different site than i normally see. Note the similarity in the websites ird.cash vs iridium.cash. The last posts in the thread indicate that the coin is possibly a scam, maybe trying to mimic this coin. But i dont know why anyone would do that for a coin which was just released and how fast one managed to do that.

've seen everyone's comments on Iridium. Its evaluation is pretty good. Seeing your material, I feel good about it. I will pay close attention to you. What's the profit of mining now?

He is dreaming to become a millionnaire... If 1 IRD=$1 then it is possible. But he is dreaming, it costs a lot more to produce IRD...
