China is just being smart about it. In my opinion they will be the first to successfully regulate this market, making sure chinese blockchain companies take the lead.

Yes China is a big economy but world is more big then china. And Crypto Currencies at start point.
There is more way. So lets collect our gains. Smiley

China wants to manipulate the bitcoin i believe this is their hidden agenda of the banning drama now it will be their peoples lost not ours. I feel sad of some Chinese investors are bankrupt because they are forced to sell their bitcoins and altcoins. Now they are waiting for their government that banning will be remove so that they could start a new investment immediately may their government help them to recover of what is loss.

In the long run they won't benefit from banning. Look at the alcohol-ban in the US decades ago. I say let the burn themselves, the rest of us will keep investing and making money whilst they cripple their economy in a worthless attempt to control the uncontrollable
They will never do that,  some years pboc already tried to give a warning or banned the crypto from their local community but they can't. because this is crypto and everywhere already connected to the internet right now and they can access the crypto everytime.

true, but the government can see where they spend their fiat, so if the people use yen to buy a bitcoin on an exchange platform, they can tax or even prosecute them.

As a growing economy China wants to control everything that has money in it to be World leader in that category. This ban hurt crypto more than many people expected but i'm positive it will mange to lick it's wounds and turn back to normal in long term. I don't see any permenant damage yet.

Exactly, China government is not understanding the technology and growth in the blockchain. They think that they are heroes of this world and they can do anything in the world with people they have, their main aim is to duplicate everything in the market and want grab as much as money from the other countries.

I thought like that, there's a hidden value behind all these regulations. China know how cryptocurrency will dominate economic sector in the future, and China try to build their empire of crypto. China is the best example related how to develop financial stability and now we can look and see, China everywhere.

The Chinese are the kings of fakes. It seems now they want to fake cryptocurrency. Why fake? Because I'm sure they will offer the world very similar currency only fully managed by the Chinese government. While miners and users are arguing with each other China is coming and could destroy the world of cryptocurrency.

don't worry, Beijing government will centralize the management of cryptocurrency, but not shut it down.
Still some space for development, and wait for some time.

Can't ignore, because there are technically much aware as well has the product based market for faking. Right now the digital currency is expected to rule the entire world, and just because of it to avoiding fakes the ban might be issued as an warning. With the ban its clear that the entire digital currency network is dependent on China on a larger scale.

I think this is temporary ban, governments always think in a different way. When China put a suitable monitoring and taxing law, they might allow ICOs again.

They can't destroy that world, impossible. They might force their cryptocurrency upon its citizens, but the rest of the world will remain in the clear. Never in the history of the world have people chosen government solutions over the peoples solutions, if that was the case, cannabis wouldn't be one of the fastest growing markets in the world and we'd all be swallowing pills every day. Whats gonna happen is they're gonna tax crypto earnings, like the US did with alcohol after they 'banned' it

The thing you're writing on is made in China. Most your clothing is also made in China. Hell, who knows what else you own is made in China, maybe even most parts of the house you live in. You know what people say, don't shit where you eat.

What do you think will happen to crypto currencies following the latest news on the #ban on ICO in China?

will the already successful ICO's refund people's monies to them?

Is it good for governments to ban the use of crypto currencies?

Tell me what you think about any of these.  Smiley

This will affect the cryptocurrencies bigtime since china have too many investors , I feel bad for them in banning ICO in China , I hope that the damage of banning of ICO in china will just in a short period of time.

I believe the ban is due to their banking fears. and involving local government.
the problem of payback in the form of investment I dont know. they may return.
but the real effect of the ban is the decline in the crypto value itself.
and the cool bitcoin only decreased slightly and survived

It seems like cryptos are experiencing some temporary downward pressure. FUD prevails.

I take a long- term view and won't sweat the dips. ICOs continue to happen in the rest of the world. And the center of BTC trading is shifting to US, South Korea and Japan now.

The most negative effect because china ban ICO is NEO price drop up to 50%, and also Bitcoin and some altcoin also drop too, the 2nd is a lot of ICO that lost investors from China. But this news only has a temporary effect, because crypto market will continue to grow, crypto market today is still like a baby that will continue to grow day by day event without China.
ICO regulation is the right solution for ICO not to be used as money laundry activity by unresponsible party.
