The SEMUX project team has fewer technical personnel, so the team should grasp the talent of recruiting chain chaining technology, and then grasp the last major mainstream exchange.

I see an exchange about sem in discord. Who knows what the exchanges is?I didn't find it in the thread.

its  an P2P exchange https://bisq.network/ , you need first download the desktop app and add SEM manual.

bisq is a nice idea but I think the volume is almost non-existent and the UI is a bit dated.

it is not 'almost' but it is not 'exist' truth to be told for now,
the reason why we could not see it because it's a little bit complicated compared to other exchange,
it was Peer to Peer based on exchange and because of that we need to put our own order and execute it directly.
first we need to download it and then we need to list it directly(it was hidden by default).
but hey,at least we have someplace to trade right ? also it's much more better compared to OTC because the scammer can not scam us there.

The volumes on Bisq that are reported by CMC are close to zero, so it shows the idea isn't nice, but just bad.
Too much effort for todays lazy users to download separate app and start trading.

It is also convenient to use a common web style exchanges, but the latest progress has been slow.

How is it going with the goals in roadmap? Should we expect Semux VM this year?

We are still following the announced roadmap.

As we've discussed in https://github.com/semuxproject/semux/issues/722, EVM and Solidity will be integrated into Semux through https://github.com/semuxproject/evmc-jni.

Yes it is nice but some dudes are too lazy to download the program and start using it or maybe we are still waiting for semux to get listed on a traditional exchange or into some big ones.

what does that mean ? no ETA yet ? or something else ?
(as we can see we are expecting VM in Q4 2018 which mean it should be around Sep~Dec)
also a little activity happened on Github regarding VM,it won't get delayed right ? or am i missing something here ?

ok sounds good to me.
it is really important for us because lately we could see only a few people were instrested with semux openly(an old member).
and we need something to attract a new users/adopters into this project, this is why i said it's an important thing for semux project
lastly thank you for a quick answer.

Semux is no longer on the stock exchange, and the project is getting colder, which is not conducive to the long-term development of coins.

semux may be slow, which seems it is; but it will not be cold any time soon. surely project has potentials but seems there is a small team (or solo) working background whom really need some marketing helps

they (he/she) will come up with a new ANN once a while and shows that project is still moving forward, slowly but really steady
its too soon to be disappointed on this project, give it another shot and you wont face loss for sure

I really don't get how anyone can say semux devs are slow.

While half the projects out there are clones of existing source code with no new consensus algorithm, here we have Semux which is 100% completely new code with a completely new consensus algorithm.

I don't think you really understand how much more work that is and in how little time they pulled it off.  My view is that the Semux devs are a magnitude of clips faster than most other devs-- and their code is above average in terms of stability.

Looking forward to https://stocks.exchange listing soon.

I'm fully committed to this project as being big like NEM or Dash.  Watch this space.

Semux is the only new project that will be able to enter the TOP 100 in the near future.  I'm willing to wait as long as it takes.

Top 100 is already successful. That means that the market capitalization is very high, there are many transactions and many investors support.
