It seems that over 90% of the discussion here is about the price and surroundings, but very little about developement issues and roadmap, which in my view  would be much more interesting subjects of discussion.

becouse many people don't have the know-how to partecipate actively at develop some are investor so they think at money, some work on marketing area and think about at this aspect of the project.. personally  i check the github page for see te progress of the development.---->

Since page 400 was started on July 18th there have been 53 more pages added. Exactly 80 days have passed which means a mere 0.66 pages have been created, less than a page a day. There isn't exactly a load of people beating the door down with interest over this project and clearly very little discussion happening.

Not sure how long before this project dies.

its not semux problem, its the bear slept on crypto market which has killed many projects, if market gets its power back, many good projects can hit a fast bounce on price and attention

Since when we are looking it that way ? if every projects are working as you described, there will be no Ethereum right now. Not only Ethereum, Dash, Doge, Litecoin and many more.
project dies if developer step away or get out of the project and the project itself does not have any supporter at all.
but semux does not, semux has an active developer (they are testing the vm and smart contract,currently they are working hard preparing it for the launch in Q4).
semux has a good community (some member even built up their own light wallet and android wallet).
what possibly could go wrong with this kind of project ? not sure why you said that.

Testnet back up!  I have some commits in vm.  Ran into issue with calling methods in contracts, filed bug.  Something's off and we don't have testing for it.  But work goes on. Trying to get erc20 token example running on devnet
May take a break to look at seed node connection leak or fix the issue folks are having with Windows boxes and our system analysis...

I am not able to sync my wallet. My wallet doesn't sync it gets stuck on peers connected and syncing stopped. This is from the debug log. Any help is appreciated .

I am amazed to see how short-sighted everybody here is, reading the comments. Everybody happy for the signature campaign to stop just because they think THIS is the reason of the price to drop. So everybody is happy that less people will learn about Semux, as if THIS would benefit the value of the coin. Since nobody is seemingly understanding what crypto is - or should - be about, I'm amazed this castle of cards is still standing.

the only best thing will be the vm and new exchange.. and yes the signature now it's only a way for dump every week.. for example also if the signature end, i don't leave it from my profile

Why are real Semux entusiasts afraid of Bounty Hunters dumping? Is this project so weak that it must be afraid of a few coins getting on the market? Are people here so desperate about the price instead of developement?
I first thought this project is cool, but after observing these behaviors in the community - starting from the team, which is ending the campaign now for obvious fears about those mini-dumpers - I am not so sure any more.

Because of the market uncertainty, that led some people to rush to sell when they got the bounty, therefore, the price of sem has been falling rapidly in the past, which is quite irrational.

My impression instead is that nowadays most of the people here on Bitcointalk are from poor countries - something you can deduce also from their poor English - and they just need the little money as soon as they get it so that they cannot wait until it grows in value.

Well sadly it won't happen, in cryptosphere only a few peoples care about that stuff(mostly they are using official social media to ask or make a conversation such as Discord,Github and etc) when the others are trying to figure out how to make a lot of money.
and it is also a place for people to solve their trivial issues such as connection problem, and many more.
we can not expect something much from the announcement because mostly this thread was used for shilling and some of it was used for news, but do not take it wrong.
ETH,Dash and other major cryptocurrencies also did it.
