In my opinion, i think we still need to send children in school even though we can teach them at home because of the many reasons to consider at. First, children learn many things if she/he will be send in school. socializing to other children in school will help them strengthen them in dealing others as soon as they land a stable job. They will learn more and update themselves if they are studying in school. As we can see, both parents need to work together in order to meet the necessary needs of their family and so by this parents don't have the ample time teaching their children at home.They need to send them to school to equip children and learn many things that they will surely benefited in the long run. So whether we like it or not , parents need to send their children to school but sadly not all parents can afford to send their children to school and so our government must be aware of this !

How many parents are proficient in all the subjects a growing child needs to be educated in? Mathematics, literature, language apart from the literature, biology, chemistry, art, music, civics, philosophy, etc.etc. A parent needs to understand and be able to explain all those subjects to their child in an understandable, approachable manner. Teachers are professional pedagogues, they are taught how to present information to children of different ages with different needs. How many parents are proficient in that? Some probably are, but I highly doubt the majority of them are.

If you think some educational videos on the internet or other books might help the kids instead of letting them go to school, then you're wrong. They also need to socialize with others they are not familiar with. They must also learn not to depend too much on their parents and to stand on their own feet.

We actually send our kids to school because educating them at home is way too different from educating them at school. At home we help them develop their personal development, we discipline them so they'll know how to cope up with people in the society. We send them to school because they need that for their future attainment.

Honestly I think homeschooling is the best thing you can do for a child because you are only paying to school so that they can teach your kids but you can but you are not teaching your kids because you do not have enough time in your life, take some of your time and if you teach your kids there will be much more educated and experienced then all the kids around them. If you can give special care to your child you will get some extra credits in the future schools and colleges are required for a student but those are not necessary if a student has some real interest in studies because that's interest can help that student to develop himself there are many sources well you can learn like internet or books.

I think family education and school education are all essential. Children in school can learn knowledge and communicate with others.

And the first teacher of us is our parents.  They taught us many things and most of them are essential and most important lessons in life.  We cannot simply teach our kids in our home because the basis now on finding a job is to put in your resume your educstional background and where you graduated.  Plus if they will be in scholl just like what you said they will understand much more things.

School is just not to learn about so many boring subject, there is a enjoyable subject which is called a friendship & a great childhood memories. All of you should now sometimes remember your those school life with your best buddy. those memories sometimes bring smile in our tensed face. that is the main reason for going to school. Just only not for educate child but also make a great memories with their friends. thats why we need to send them at school. I agree that we can educate them at our home. but we are parents, some times we become so emotional that we can't punish them when they don't listen to us. But a teacher can do it. Not all topics need to learn by a kid found at home, they need to go to school to widen their knowledge on everything. Many subjects were very important for a kid to learn like english, so that they can be competitive to communicate, math, every day we are using math like counting money. In school- You are surrounded by many people, you will meet new friends, enemies and you will learn from socialization and you will become who you are. while at home is just limited people which you will not be formed properly.

Its because teacher has more knowledge than to us as a parents, we dont know all the things they teach at school. Teacher must teach them and parents should guide them, so that they are more knowlegable. Parents have no ability to teach everything that their child needs to know. The kids also won't learn things that he or she can only learn in school like socializing and handling different situations.

A child development is based on the primary socialization (family) and secondary socialization (friends, school). If a child has only the primary one, his development will not be fulfill. He needs the second one because it will allows him to see an other point of vue than the one of its family. He has to see more than what's in his house. If he doesn't have the practice to open his mind to others, then he won't when he will be adult. And, for example, it can lead to have a person who's not well-integrated in society. And who knows, it can lead him to make a mass shooting because he feels like an outsider and is psychologically unstable.

There are certain standards that needs to be attain in order to cope up with the society. Home schooling is Good but we cant just teach our kids with random facts there has to be someone to guide them academically.
