If the child can assess the pros and cons of the school
In addition, a completely different attitude causes children to study at home, if they have already understood for themselves all the pros and cons of school. There is something to push away from and to compare. By contradiction. Therefore, remembering my experience, I would advise to give the child the opportunity to choose, spending at least the first six months-a year with the class.

The most important element of home schooling is you, the parents. How feasible will this path be for you personally? After all, this is a considerable responsibility. The decision will require you to moral, temporary, and even financial investments. But, on the other hand, you have probably heard about how much the same resources are spent by parents of ordinary schoolchildren on homework and the entire educational process.

Therefore, I think it would be worth trying both ways to know what is most convenient for you and your child.

1. it's an important instrument of socialization
2. there are professional teachers who know more than parents
3. parents need to earn money an sometimes don't have enough time to teach children
4. private teachers are too expensive

If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school?

If socialization is a problem in homeschooling, there are many solutions to that ;-)

ok let's say you have several degrees thta you are qualified to teach your child academically. Now how would you simulate events that could help develop social skills such as initiating communication, dating, heartbreak, building group of friends, etcetera?

I think you can do some of the said above, but it's kinda gross if you would date your child.

I don't think that people can teach children the way teachers do. Also, both parents usually work in my country so they don't have time to teach their children. Kids have to socialise with other kids as well.

I'm also not sure one can educate children at home, and not only in relation to the lack of knowledge. The parents'-children relation problem can appear; I can explain this deeper.

You know, from the very birth parents should give their children love and confidence that they (children) are secured and backed up. But on some stage of life children must begin to separate from their family to build their own life. This is a step-by-step process. When they are app.10 years old, children need a person who will make challenges for them, you can call this person a mentor if you wish. Why is it a bad idea for a parent to be a mentor? Just because challenges cannot be without failures. And the reactions of parents and those of mentors must differ! While parents should give their child support, a mentor must give a kick to move forward! If a parent gives a kick instead of supporting, this may hurt a little human. I truly believe we should all play our designated roles!

Children need to interact with different people from different backgrounds. Else they will face trouble when they grow up. It is going to be tough initially, but having a few bad experiences in the school is much better than having the same later in life.

There are some things that can be learned only at homes, and there are also things that can be taught at school. We are sent to schools because there are subjects and topics that are intended to be learned at school, we can meet different people, can learn to interact with them, and build friendships. At home, we can learn good morals, our parents are there to teach us good things, maybe basic grammar, math and history, but not all. Because our parents are also busy working, so that's when the teachers come in. They are here for us because they have been taught things to teach us that maybe our parents cannot.

It is not to say my kids will listen to me if I'd tried to teach them, while they go the extra mile to try and impress their school teachers. Waking up early, be on time, going out in even harsh weather conditions, socialise; it all teach them so much more than only school subjects.

We send them school to have a social exposure. To experience living with different kinds of people. And being with a lot of people gives learning to them. To know the real world.

Home is our first school, that's what they say, but it's only intended for moral and basic knowledge you need to know as a child.
The school is what we call our second home because we spent almost 10 months of our time every year starting from kindgergarten, to elementary and high school until we finished our bachelor's degree.
Here in the Philippines, most of the parents doesn't even reach highschool because of poverty. Its such a priviledge during their time if they have reached highschool. That's why they always tell their children that education is the only treasure they can give to their children. They make sure that their children go to school and learn even if they can't afford it that much. They can't teach all the knowledge a child needs to know so the school is where they send them.

We need to send them to school to educate them though the parents serve as a first teacher we need to acknowledge the existence of teacher in our society because they are the one who knows what is the best for every student because it is their profession and specializations to facilitate learning....

Our kids need to send them at school to educate not just at home because our parents at home teach us first how to be a good person to be ready when we step out outside and socialize with others. And at school we need to go their just because school strengthen our foundation of knowledge , develop our skills , enhance our talents and mold our personality.

That is actually correct. Our house is not complete. If you look at the schools, it's too big and yet it is still incomplete most of the time.

Children needs to learn how to walk outside with different people and different professions around them because we cannot live just by ourselves, even kings are sending their children to school and letting them see what is happening in the world. They need to communicate, trade and exchange idea with others to expand their knowledge more.

Avoiding the children of sending them to school is the miss opportunity for them to explore and discover the things which are not available in the house. Maybe there are parents that can provide a personal teacher for their children, but the experience that only the school can provide which can possibly leads them to realize the meaning of life is what the parents voluntarily ignored.

You don't need to, but you have to if you believe in the system we're currently in wherein you have to get your education from a school to get a job. Though I think this is slowly changing as companies are being more open minded in hiring people based on their abilities and not from where they got their education.
